I cannot see or find ANY method to do this, and CrystalGipsy misunderstands what I'm asking, as he's just pointing FROM the unit TO the PC, which is NOT what Gaitor is saying, which is, again - "viewing the SSD over the network ON my PC" - NOT the other way round. Even trying what Crystal shows, does not allow viewing of all the files and folders on the M.2.
Can you please explain how you do that, as if I try and use the web address method, all one can see is files/folders within the (annoyingly created) EversoloMusic folder, not in the root of the M.2 which is where all my folders are?
Maybe someone, anyone, at Eversolo answer this question? Or, it would be good if someone at Eversolo actually responded!
Are we expected to put ALL our files and folders within the EversoloMusic folder? If I copy from my PC to the SSD (M.2) it goes into the root of the SSD and not into the EversoloMusic folder, even though when using that method the unit says, when one chooses where to save to, 'Select the root directory', yet when one uses that, it DOESN'T go into the root, but into that annoying EversoloMusic folder! The OS on these DMP's is awful, IMO.

 

Thanks for understanding. Only real users and not the fans or resellers can be honest about the unit they paid for. And I absolutely agree with you. I also enjoy my A8 as a streamer and DAC.

Wright now, I am using Apple Music. When my listening Room is completely done and everything gets moved to the big rig in my other room. I was going to look into a higher Res streaming service But for the present moment, everything seems to suffice

Eversolo dev team - are you planning to fix Tidal Home Screen in Eversolo app for iOS ? It is completely broken after last update which was more than 3 weeks ago. I haven’t seen any single response to this neither here on the forum or on any social networks.

 

Send an after service request from their website or a support email. I got a reply on an issue I had very quickly that way. This is a discussion forum not a full support portal.

 

Hi, we've found that the issue is caused by individual API. We're in contact with Tidal.

It’s a form to have fun. Enjoy talk about what you’re doing and what the other form associates or members might be doing I wasn’t aware that such strict or stringent laws apply. Who are you actually agreeing with? Who are you speaking of? It would be helpful.

 

Kim - I wonder if you could take on board some suggestions as to how to make these (A6/A8/A10) products more user friendly, in a future FW update maybe?

1. When looking at the internal M.2 (called the SSD), and viewing, in my case, hundreds of folders, how about putting a search box at the top so we can input, say, an 'S', and it will go to all folders beginning with S? This would save scrolling and scrolling down for ages?
2. Fix the, what Eversolo calls the 'WiFi To spread songs' web access, on 192.168.0.xx:9587 , so that we can copy FOLDERS to it, rather than the pretty useless file only facility? And while you're looking into that, find out why some files will not copy, even though they are the same format (Flac) and very similar file size. Also, the available space which is shown for the internal 64Gb of storage is ALWAYS wrong, as you can see in my attached images, which one shows available space as just 17Mb, when there is actually well over 47GB free and available?
3. When using SMB to search for files/folders on, say, a PC or NAS, and then wanting to copy a folder to the unit (in my case A10), how about giving us a choice of where to copy them to, rather than just 'SSD'.

That should keep you busy for a few minutes! Thanks in anticipation.

I believe you will find the answer to your question with the small comment that is noted specifically above my entry, where I believe it is stated that ( something to the effect of, ( this is not an information portal or debate forum )

Hello! There are limitations when using browser SMB transfer. It's recommended to use SMB via a file application instead.

It appears that Eversolo is abandoning everything but stereo and will relegate themselves to a "me-too" company.

I´m wondering, why those Tidal and Amazon Music users pay a lot of money every month, but obviously have no interest in listening to the Atmos tracks, which they are also paying for.
