Hi Dave , yes, I did not mean to confuse you, but I believe there is an EQ balance adjustment. If you have this feature activated I never really use the PEQ or EQ however I believe it may fall under those settings that is the reason I mentioned left and right balance control below ⬇️⬇️

getting back to your situation at hand every once in a while, us guys may have a similar problem. We’re different inputs or outputs failed to engage what we found helpful is repetitiously click them on and off back-and-forth several times a few times when this had happened, the unit did start to function properly even your volume controlled knob. If it’s set on the pass-through mode every once in a while, we will reengage it and rotate that volume knob and actually did have a problem with it once because it was never in use when you choose your different settings do you hear a positive click relay at times we would hear no relay or nothing engaged until everything was activated and sequence in back-and-forth as I stated with all settings as you do, so you will notice the clicks were engagement points become somewhat louder. We don’t have a schematic diagram naturally, but you may have one of the relays hanging up on that one channel. I have seen this before probably over a year ago. Also, a few other things “ unfortunately I am on the road at this particular time, I would indeed perform a few repetitious functions and take note from that point forward,

I know no one likes, taking part in this, including myself sometimes a factory reset will rectify a lot of these problems if you wish to do so with the ongoing new updates and upgrades as I have stated somewhere on this forum, I am so used to performing factory resets. It actually is not a hindrance, but the units we use are hooked up in the most simplistic manner with mainly dedicated CD transports ,out board drives, radio, ect and likeing the A8’s AKM dac naturally within the unit which is somewhat of a waste for the use of the A8 , however best of luck to you on that I’m sure you’ll get it straightened out, the resets In actuality really do help rectifying numerous problems, naturally, use your own discretion, however again it most definitely helped Straighten out quite a few issues, and operational problems,
