They are not available yet. It can only show the playback after power up, you still need to swipe to the VU.
I'm a user of Eversolo devices in Korea, and I'd like to make two improvements to the two aspects of Eversolo that I find disappointing. First, I'd like to request a multilingual keyboard be included by default. For example, if I change the language setting to Korean, I'd like to see an option to select and download a Korean keyboard from the keyboard app. This would allow support for keyboards in various languages, not just Korean. Second, I'd like better connectivity with the Eversolo control app without having to set a static IP. In Korea, many Network Companys offer dynamic IP addresses, but rebooting the Eversolo changes the IP, requiring users to reconnect via QR code every time. This is a tedious process. While setting a static IP address is relatively simple for wired LAN (since it can be set directly in the Eversolo), some users find it difficult to configure the router for Wi-Fi. I hope that connectivity will be smoother, regardless of whether or not you have a static IP like other devices.
Setting fixed IP on the device is always a bad idea. Reserving or fixing on the router is 100% the better solution. What happens when you change your network gear and it works to a very different ip range your device can’t connect and you can’t connect to it. Most modern routers have the option to reserve ip addresses to device on your network. Can’t say I have any issues with DHCP on my system mind, once assigned it’s never given any device a new IP address on WiFi or wired on restarting of router or devices. It checks MAC address and uses that to reassign the ip it used previously.
Yes, we should be able to use the Eversolo Control App normally even without using the fixed IP setting function (DHCP OFF) within Eversolo. However, in Korea, the IP often changes when Eversolo is rebooted, so the Eversolo Control App needs to be reconnected every time. Since this may be a special situation unique to Korea, I am requesting other supplementary measures to ensure the connection stability of the Eversolo Control App.
Is there a logical reason why there is no initial volume setting on the RCA/Toslink digital inputs? @Eki Shaw Sorry for error, Output RCA Spidif/Toslink
Exactly, I use the SPDIF output to drive amplified speakers, controlled by the Eversolo's volume knob, and when I turn them on, I need to set an initial volume to be safe. Turning on a power supply with 1100 watts can be dangerous. I've just discovered that when you switch from XLR to SPDIF output, the volume goes to 0 dB and after a couple of seconds it goes back to the level at which the device was turned off. This is dangerous, IMHO. It's necessary to set an attenuation value, as with the XLR/RCA outputs. Thanks
In the app, quick settings, start volume, digital output start volume, tap and you can set one volume of your choice as fix.
That's because the S/PDIF is a digital output, that gets made analog by the DAC in your speakers. As a rule of thumb, always turn the speakers ON last, to avoid blasts if the audio was already playing BEFORE the correct volume was automatically (re)set.
Hi , absolutely none of my business personally speaking my audio rig is on approximately 12 to 15 hours a day most times Internet radio playing in the background then perhaps once or twice a day I will play the system in high gear, The point I wanted to emphasize when all equipment and audio devices are through being used approximately until the next day, Or or any level controls or attenuators are muted defeated or turned to the office position it may be a good habit for some folks to get into personally speaking naturally I don’t know, but I have learned the hard way a few times throughout the past years, not fun please have a great weekend
Feature Request: Universal Auto Source Switching and Startup Source Option Hi Eversolo Team, First of all, I am a very satisfied user of your products. I'd like to suggest two features that would significantly improve the user experience: 1. Universal Auto Source Switching Currently, the device automatically switches to the "Internal Player" when a signal is detected. I would like to see this function expanded to all other input sources. Details: If a signal is detected from HDMI ARC, Coaxial, Optical, USB-in, or Bluetooth, the device should automatically switch to that specific input. Benefit: This would eliminate the need for manual switching when turning on the TV or an external digital transport. 2. Power-on Default Source Option Currently, the device remembers the last used source, but adding an option to fix a specific source upon booting would be very helpful. Details: Add a setting in the menu: Settings > General > Startup Source (Options: Last Used, Internal Player, HDMI ARC, Coaxial, etc.) Benefit: Users who primarily use the device as a dedicated DAC for one specific source can have a more consistent experience. I believe these small additions would make the Eversolo ecosystem even more powerful and user-friendly. Thank you for your hard work and for listening to user feedback! Best regards
Hi Y'all, I've had an A-10 for just over a year and all has been ok, until today, when I stopped using the USB digi out in my DAC and tried to use the RCA analogue in & out direct into my power amp. On RCA in/out, only the LH cannel is outputting any sound using analogue input 1. Using analogue input 2 there is no output at all! Using internal storage or USB storage or streaming services, both channels are ok, but using analogue inputs there is that problem. I've swopped L/R cables around and right is still dead (both dead using input 2). I've even changed the cables but this issue persists. I've trawled through the setup/in and out menues but I can't see anything that would fix this. before I go the return to repair route, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could try, please?
Hi , just wondering are you showing any Visual display of output on any VU meters or LED lights that will Show the unit is seeing a signal, levels ? Though they are mainly there purely for aesthetic purposes they will show If 2 or only 1 channel are available and working accordingly. If so then, unfortunately, perhaps on possible other areas in malfunction that is more than likely a simple correction, I would suggest Ruling that out first. Let’s first consider if the A10 is actually seeing any signal on that particular channel first , in my past experiences in humble opinion, also have you checked Your balance control on that particular input/ output ? And other adjustments that are specific to that input only, using my A8 I have found the same issue as each input and output are somewhat specific in overall user control to a certain degree, please have a great weekend
Thanks BiAmp - That was a good suggestion. No, VU meters show no movement on that RH channel, but it IS getting the signal, as when I swop the cable L→R and R→L, the dead channel is the same, so it's not the source. If I plug the cables into RCA 2, there's nothing on either channel! Every other source works fine on both channels, but not the RCA inputs. Ch balance is central, although I'm not aware of any balance adjustments available on INPUTS. I've now tried a different source completely, with different cables, and it's the same - dead RH Ch on RCA input 1, and both dead on RCA Input 2. I'm beginning to believe there's a fault!
Kim/Mod - why does my profile say I'm a new member, when I've been on here and posting for over a year?
It doesn't depend on how long you've been registered in the forum, but rather on how many messages you've written. You've written 23 messages so far, so that's likely the reason. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
no, I don’t believe you’re wrong. He doesn’t have any credentials yet. Good or bad. Don’t worry about it. Wait for the cold weather to sit back in. You got a lot. Lotta long boring days you’ll catch up
