Any chat about an A10 coming out now that the A8 has been out for a bit?

considering that the A8 came out merely ~6 months after the A6 came out, may i please ask if anyone has heard any chat about an A10 coming out soon?

Eversolo/Zidoo seems to be able to develop products rather quickly and deliver soon too.

What would your expectations be for an A10?
I would buy an A4 streamer only with i2s though, as I use an external DAC

 

An A10 for what...?!? 6-months for being Roon-Ready, and another year to fix all the nuances the A8 has not yet ironed out?!?!
Have you thought about it, or just aired your mouth with some silly question to clutter the forum...?

 

I heard that the A 10 will be rolled over and an A 12 will be produced immediately. For an A 10 there was nothing new to add and for an A12 there are more half-baked options available. This means that the next update wave is secured. Entirely in line with Eversolo’s corporate philosophy. I also heard, that A12 will have a pin in the middle of the lid of the case. So it will be able to pick up and rip vinyl directly to a installed harddrive. The product may be called Eversolo A12 Supa Dupa High End Audiofool Limited Edition One. The markings will be made out of stardust and many little Swarowski christals wich looks cool and make a big improvement in sound qualitiy too.

So don`t buy anything yet. Look out for that!

Eversolo should focus on their firmware , not more hardware. Every version of firmware makes the end user a Beta tester. Your unit no longer works as promised? Wait until the next version and maybe they'll get it right. Really poor support , this is coming from an Aurender owner . Lying to your customers is not how to handle known bugs.

Zidoo has learned how to undercut prices on hardware but they will never have the software perfected at this rate

 

Seems a perfectly reasonable question, followed by some slightly unreasonable responses really.

The A8 for my own requirements and use case, came very close to everything I wanted but missed the mark by not allowing the HPF/LPF functionality to be split across outputs.
If an 'A10' was released and had this feature, therefore allowing for proper 2.2 sub integration, I'd be all over that like a rash. (Think of it as a sort of miniDSP but ticking those audiophile boxes like a LPS and analogue volume!).

I'm happy to sit patiently until the next Eversolo (A10?) product is released, in hope that includes that capability (potentially someone other than Eversolo might tick that box first).
Until then occasionally I will Google to see when news of that product might be, much as the OP no doubt was doing. - Hardly a 'silly' question they asked IMO.

Yep, but the current state of that device appears riddled with bugs, as is par for the course with NAD frankly. Having owned a NAD myself that went back for bugs, I'm less than likely to part with the significant price tag of £4.5k of for it! I seem to recall last time I looked it lacked or had a problem with HT Bypass too? Not sure exactly what the issue was but certainly on ASR someone was complaining about this aspect of it.
Tbh for the money of the NAD, I'd be as well to spend some extra and buy an AV10 or AVM90, combine my 2 systems in to one. But really the appeal of a hypothetical A10 at let's say ~£2.5k-ish, is still a much more enticing prospect to me at least than a bug riddled M66 for £4.5k, or a super hifi grade processor for £6.5k.

 

Yes, its called the Zidoo UHD8000, maybe they focused their attention elsewhere

 

Interesting, but really this looks like an entirely different type of product, being very media centric as opposed to stereo only 2ch product as is the A8. The UHD8000 also appears to lack the facility to split 2ch in to 2.2 outputs, which as mentioned already, for my desired usage this is the big omission from the A8 and is the primary feature I'd be looking for in a potential 'A10'.

 

PARASOUND HALO P6 PREAMPLIFIER & DAC

Never heard it in my system was about to purchase and my dealers distributor stopped carrying so went Bryston, which left a huge hole in my budget but don't regret.
Regardless P6 does 2.1 with two sub inputs for HT bypass and two outputs, sounds like what you need?
The dealer mentioned the dac in A6 reminded him of sound quality of DAC in this preamp. (he sold me my A8).

 

New, streamer only, budget options and a couple high-end streamers are coming soon from Eversolo.

I do expect a merger of Eversolo A8 with Zidoo Alpha 8K to come with full MCH audio capabilities via 8CH Analog plus HDMI.

Most likely in the 4K+ Euro price range.

 

My "dream machine" would be an A6 (maybe even in a A8 casing) , but without DAC. And it should passthrough Atmos and Auro CX (if that comes true, what Auro engineers said on some Youtube videos, it sounds very promising) .
