Annoying cracking sound when skipping tracks / First milliseconds cut off [Solved with 1.6.01!]

Hello. On the penultimate and latest firmware versions (1.5.96), the crackling issue when switching tracks manually seems to be absent.

 

Thanks for letting me know! That would be awesome! At the moment I am still afraid to update from 1.5.75, But are you referring to the Eversolo Play? Because it was already addressed for other devices but not for the Play…

 

Hi. How are you? Did you update the firmware? My Play now has the latest version, 1.6.01, and everything is fine. There’s no crackling when switching tracks.

I could not wait and I have installed the Beta (1.6.01) and I can confirm: YES! It is solved! There’s no cracking sound when skipping tracks and also the cut-off is gone! I am very happy with this improvement and this fixed issue should be mentioned in the release notes. Thanks to Kim and the devs! And to Denis for letting me know!
