Hi, I have an Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen. 2 for over a year now. I'm very happy with all aspects of this unit...in fact, I actually love it! My concern is that I am an Apple Music Subscriber. I have the sideloaded app on my Eversolo as well as my Android Phone. It works great, however my concern is that the Apple Music App requirement is now Android 11. The Eversolo has a modified version of Android 11. What will happen when Apple decides that the minimum Android version is 12? Basically, I'm asking if the firmware will be updated to a later Android version before my Eversolo becomes a very pretty and expensive brick. I'm hoping that this happens before Apple raises their minimum requirements.
Hello Inti, I have been in question for some time now exact in nature as to what both you gentlemen had left comment on, I also use AM, for the remainder of better part of the day, acting as background music throughout specific areas. I may be wrong Inti but from what I understand, there are several other similar devices ect presently on the market, also in use of the same I certainly would believe if or when this actually occurs I would certainly assume or believe this would be imperative enough to be rectified in some specific way just my opinion I may certainly be wrong. Also, if I am following you guys correctly again it would certainly appear to myself in all likelihood. There would be some consumer loss in actuality I have no idea. I don’t know if you gentlemen have any further thoughts on this particular perhaps upcoming or arising problem at Present, Inti I hope all is going well with all , very best wishes always, Please have a wonderful week , sincerely yours
I don't use Apple Music on my eversolo DMP-A6 but use the Apple app on my PC to transfer music to my Apple iPod. Yeah I know it's old tech but it works well with my MMCS in the car and I don't plan to replace my car anytime soon. With Android 16 being the current version and 17 on the horizon I guess that makes Android 11 pretty much out of date. Will eversolo develop new firmware to keep up to date with the latest Android OS releases? Only eversolo can answer that question.
It would be nice if Eversolo will give some insight what’s in the future and how long one can depend on the software longevity in its platform nobody want to risk hard earned money
Hello all, their are presently many numerous dealers Throughout the web and also in many other areas that are still currently showing and listing available new units and products . A6’s, A8’s ect and most at full MSRP I might add. However not being able to correct the above named issues or possible future problems I would certainly believe if this specific situation in actuality were to occur I would assume Everesolo would address this perhaps foreseeable situation and resolve and not left in absolute absence or some form of correction, however in personal opinion anything could transpire, I don’t believe I could honestly Imagine currently speaking with new customers obtaining these new units in particular in not having the ability to correct within the very near or foreseeable future. In addition this would absolutely lead to very extreme and negative consequences in opinion ongoing within the company in entirety, I would imagine the company and distributors, dealers themselves would want or intentionally and knowingly invite any type of antitrust repercussions then inherit a form of negative publicity in overall outcome in reputation. Hoping for a favorable and positive outcome, if this issue continues to proceed forward. In addition I believe its inevitable personally speaking , Any other specific thoughts and concerns from anyone, I would certainly welcome in where exactly your allegiances may lie in concern or overall opinion of , in question I absolutely agree with Al R , and everyone above in supporting their opinions and statements, Please have a great day everyone, …Enjoy
Well that always been the worry with these Android based devices, right? Google stopped security updates for Android 10 (FiiO R7).
