Hello, I am trying to add a new headphone after having created my first one but am having no luck. I have tried through the app as well as on the device directly. When I attempt on the device it works fine going through all the menu options and when I click the last option, which is selecting a target frequency response I get a pop up that says 'Data error ,please check the network!' When I try through the app I get through everything as well but then it simply does nothing. No headset is added and it just remains as it was. I am on version 1.0.0.13 and have performed one factory reset attempt with a full shutdown and restart afterward. Everything else is great and I am really enjoying the product. I did note that one of the new VU meters in this beta has a spelling error in the word right (it shows as 'rihgt' in the left/right labels). Please let me know if I need to provide any more information. Best, Wutnaught
Some of their data base entries seem to have an error preventing the access and loading of the PEQ profile. I had this "network error" when the software couldn't handle special characters correctly - but that was fixed in the last update (“RØDE” issue with loading PEQ settings). I still encounter this error for some headphone models like the Sony 1A-M2, Sony CD900ST, Beyerdynamic Tygr 300R, ...). You should probably try a different profile (even if it is not the right model) for testing your network access and specify which model exactly you are trying to add.
Please let us know which headphone model has the issue you mentioned, we can check and correct it accordingly. As for the typo VU meter issue, we will correct it in next firmware.
Ahh good point, sorry for missing that! I was adding the following: Beyer dynamic DT 770 Pro (250ohm) I tried adding it with a few different responses to see if that would help but no joy so far.
I can confirm that trying to add that specific headphone (I actually do not have that model) yields the same "data error" in target curve selection for me... just like the Sony 1A-M2, Sony CD900ST, Beyerdynamic Tygr 300R, ... mentioned above while most other profiles I use (about 40 models at the moment) work fine for me.
I can confirm that at least Beyerdynamic Tygr 300R and Sony MDR-CD900ST (Yaxi) now work in the target curve selection menu without the previous data error. Thanks for taking care of that issue!
And while my Luxsin is on its way to me, could you please add the Sivga Audio SV023 headphones to the database?
