Hi… The familiar red update notification showed up today on the Eversolo app power button. Version is 1.4.7.6. The update doesn’t work. I surmise the reason is that my A8, purchased 1-2 months ago, is running version 1.4.3.2. And as a result the 1.4.7.6 update, which is an update to 1.4.6.0, will not run. So my question is how ( and where ) can I get my A8 updated to 1.4.6.0, and then, I hope, to 1.4.7.6? Thanks very much for any help.
Nice to meet you. I'm using a8. The current version is ver.1.4.76. To update, connect via wired LAN instead of wifi, and click as instructed and it will automatically update.
Hi, @Shimada… Thanks for the reply. The A8 is directly connected to my cable modem/ router via a CAT6 cable. I have done several SW updates on my A6 without any issues. I notice that the SW is downloaded. Pressing the “Update” button on the Eversolo app brings up a spinning wheel that spins perpetually. I have rebooted the unit several times both via the app and the front panel. Retrying the update process produces the same non-result. Looks like a permissions issue? Maybe I should leave well enough alone, as I am not experiencing any issues. I don’t want to brick the unit. I very much appreciate your help. Please let me know if you know a way to force an update. Thanks again.
Quick update… pun intended. I discovered how to invoke the update from the touchscreen. The update is underway. Thanks, and back to DEFCON 5.
Yeah it would not fully update for me by the app had to do the actual update via devices touchscreen.
Hello @Support-Kim , I'd like to report an issue with music search on my DMP-A8 updated to 1.4.7.6. App version is 1.2.15 running on my MacBook M1 - Sequoia 15.5. When I do a music search my results come back categorized by Tracks, Artists, Albums, playlists and stations. The search provides results from all three of my streaming subscriptions - Apple Music, Qobuz and Tidal.- this is excellent. My issue is when I select results from Apple Music under the Artists, Albums or Playlists - The result is "There is currently no data". When I select a track from Apple music, the track plays as expected. This issue seems to be unique to the Macbook, as the global search function works as expected on my iPhone 15 running IOS 18.5 Edit: I've also noticed that I see "there is currently no data" when I select Apple Music (native App)
