I have a ZIDOO_X7 (Firmware version: v1.2.7), and i bought a external HDD.

Should the HDD be ejected each time the box goes into stand-by or just when for some reason I have to get the HDD out? As I put it on standby, the box light is on and I'm afraid that it will work and wear out the disk ... I ask this because it still takes a lot of steps to eject it through the system, and it was boring have to do it each time I box in standby. In the case of my box, it only turns off the plug...

My zappiti properly recognizes the 4K HDR titles and the HDR logo appears on my LG TV.
However, when playing the same title on the Zidoo X7, it does not recognize the HDR, and no HDR logo appears on TV.

installed zidoolog, but no App in desktop folder App and also not in Android App.
APKInstaller shows uninstalled and File Explorer says a package with the same name exists.
I did an factory reset but same issue.

I want to provide log for my playback issue, how to create log without zidoolog ?
where is the location for this tool?

in zidoo explorer , the logo HDR is active and BT.2020, for exemple a film 4K Hdr , below a screan




second screen , same film on kodi or SPMC-17.6a2 , no logo HDR and no BT.2020I would like to have the same definition and resolution on Kodi or SPMC is this coming from the configuration of advancedsettings.xml.

i have for all Videos 2,3 times a short judder per hour. but if i go back to the position where the judder was, it plays without judder.
no matter which video player i am using (all have the judder) or USB port
On the TV there is no judder.

So seems some software issue as other RK3328 boxes have not this problem.

Please fix it.

I have a X9S unit for which ZDMC auto starts when powering on (I did not remember how I did this set up).
I just buy a X7 unit but when powering on, it starts on Zidoo menu so I have to manually switch to ZDMC with remote control.

How to force ZDMC to autostart on the X7 unit at the unit startup ?

I have bought an x7 month ago. I connected it via usb 3.0 to a Seagate HDD (500 gb) . I am experiencing trouble when I want to watch movies with type avi. I have also tried the built-in media player but it tries to connect media player, cuts the movie, and direct the screen to the media player page where you can see the hdd includings. This could be any time , after 5 min or 45 min . Also audio is troubled. During watching suddenly there was no sound.
