My Luxsin x8 generates random pop/click sounds when connected to Douk U2Pro via I2S ; when the U2Pro is connected to another DAC I don't have the issue so there seems like something at fault in the X8 I2S implementation. I tried several HDMI 8K certified cables (less or equal to 1.5m length), also switched modes 1, 2, 3, 7 nothing fixes this.

I have a technical question about the headphone output of the Luxsin X8 and the relationship between its displayed volume level, gain setting and actual output power.

This would be very useful for correcting speaker response when using the RCA or XLR outputs, especially when the left and right speakers need different EQ.

Right now I have to use third-party software on the computer and manually enable/disable it every time I switch between speakers and headphones. If I use more than one computer, the software has to be installed and configured on all of them.

I'm a very satisfied user of the X8, but I have noticed one issue with the VU meters that is quite irritating. The VU meters have a slight delay compared to the audio signal.

This occurs when using a USB connection to a PC, both with ASIO and WASAPI. I have tried resetting the device to factory settings, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue.

Would it be possible to address this problem in a future firmware update?
