First of all, I'd like to thank the developers for including these options because going into the details of a movie and having the soundtrack play in the background while the dynamic background is on. It´ss really cool and awesome.

That said, I'd like to comment on what I think could be an improvement to Home Theater.

Currently, Home Theater's settings allow two options:

- Play the soundtrack
- Play the trailer of the movie

Hi,
I would be nice if there was an option to select All or unwatched in movies and TV Shows and the machine remember these settings for next time like you can in Plex. I know that there is an unwatched option but i dont want to see Movies and TV Shows bundled together.

Hey folks,

I have 1 feature request. There are so many Now Playing screens with Album Art available on Eversolo but most of them are very busy with a lot of tiny text and tinybuttons.

Would it be possible to have a Now Playing screen option with just
1. Full square album art on side (no Spotify/Tidal logo on top) from top to bottom but in square shape
2. LARGE Song title and below it Artist name

That's all I want, since I view the Play streamer from 6-7 feet away and all the little...

When using Zidoo, you’ll often come across an actor you enjoy or recognise. You know you’ve seen them in other movies, but you can’t quite remember which ones. Naturally, you want to explore more of their work—but doing so means leaving Zidoo and searching elsewhere.

So what do you do?

My A6 does not show playlists in Music->My screen.

Only way to access the Playlists is via the app. See screen shots.

I'm sure I didn't just conjure this up out of thin air, but neither a forum search here, or a general Google or DuckDuckGo search, finds anything for "zidoo getFilterAggregations".

I've been using this:

I had a vague feeling I'd seen a different version of the Zidoo REST API than this one:

...and I even found that I'd been using one of the calls (GET Poster/v2/getVideoInfo?id=xxx), but I was having a hard time tracking it down until I invoked just the right google-fu.

Currently, when we click on a director or an actor's name in Poster Wall, we are taken to their bio page with an image gallery and a list of their movies/shows that have been matched.

This is great and quite a neat feature. However, it'd be even more useful if we could have a menu option to change the person's photo by picking one from the existing gallery, similar to how we can choose a poster and backdrop for a movie. Particularly in cases where a person doesn't have any photos on TMDB...

Hi,

I have been trying out a friends DMP-A6 (gen1). Found a lot of issues, but there are workarounds to all of them but this one; why is not NAA and perhaps DSD Direct incorporated in the software?

The reason for asking to the obvious ambition of the product/s. There is a part of the highly consious audiophiles that drive the digital playback to also include substantial mathematical re-sampling and applying new filters outside the normal HiFi devices.

I have two Zidoo players and I’d like to sync them — mainly the “continue watching” / resume playback feature.

Is Trakt the only way to sync watched status?
Or is there a better way to sync resume position and metadata between both devices?

Would love to hear what works best in 2025. Thanks!

Control4 Drivers Need Updated

The Control4 drivers are 6+ years old... And they're very outdated. They mention a bunch of things that don't exist in the app, and they're missing basic functionality - such as RS232 control.

Any idea if this will ever see an update?

I built an Image Viewer App that I need to use on Zidoo z30.

The problem I have is that my app doesn't show up when I got to Zidoo explorer and opening an image has the "open with" option grayed out.

Zidoo doesn't recognize my app as an image viewer.

In my manifest.xml file I have added the

Let's say, you have a share/folder for anime and you want to set the language and subtitle for that folder to jap/eng (and nothing else).

At the moment, I have to set the language and subs every time, when I start watching the next episode (of an anime).

This is actually a DUNE feature. It's basically a list of the last played files. This is really helpful if you have a complex folder structure and don't want to jump to the folder every time you start a new episode of a TV show, for example.
