    1. Added image sharpness adjustment option.

And for the exact definition of the 3 new parameters?
    Thanks in advance !

These are forms of processing a video image.

Peaking is to do with smoothing peaks in the video signal, dejaggy removed jagged edges, particularly from diagonal transitions and dithering is to do with interpolation between two values.

This setting was introduced as a response to the discovery by DMDReview of a default oversharpening setting in the AML SOC. See this video:

I suggest you leave them all switched off.

    Exactly.

It has to be defined in a VSDB (Vendor Specific Data Block) in the EDID.

I noticed dejagging was on by default whereas the other 2 were off after upgrading. All off now ;)

Yes, that was the issue, but I'd honestly be extremely surprised if anyone noticed - I did tests comparing a Sony UHD BluRay, a Realtek Zidoo and the AML Zidoo (before this fix) and the results were inconclusive to say the least - but at least we now have control over it.

This file still does not play. Although, i repeat, Dune Pro 4K Plus II and Zidoo Z9X Pro handle this file without problems.
Samba transfer speed is still slow. Engineers are not dealing with this problem.

We really wanted the new firmware before Christmas and we got it. Only no one confirms the solution of any problems

    Thank you
Interlaced videos again without repair. Interlaced video 25fps, output again 25Hz and not 50Hz.

So what TV's support this? I have a 2024 LG OLED and it doesn't.

No mention of lyrics working for the music player. I know prob not a priority for most but one of the few things the Z2000 does better for my use.

Unfortunately the problem that the video is stopping with running sound is still there.
    Maybe fixed with next update.

I appreciate the work the engineers put in to provide timely updates. But I wish they would fix the DTS delay (or add a global DTS override) and improve bluray menu support than add support for an obscure HDR Vivid format.

Hello everyone! I have to say that with this new firmware the problems I had have been solved, specifically, there were a significant number of iso files that did not play, now they all work, in general I have not had any problems with the z9x 8k except with the iso files, now I have the complete system, very happy.
    Merry Christmas!

    Yes.

And by all means experiment - it's easy to say you shouldn't process an image but then what's HDR or what's DV? - any video image is processed by definition, but all off is a good starting point.

As far as I know it's primarily for the Chinese market.

    Is that still there?

Can you send me your EDID as you normally have your equipment connected and confirm the status of automatic or manual Audio Delay in the Denon (Page 120 of the manual).

    https://www.denon.com/on/demandware...3cce/downloads/avr-x3800-owners-manual-en.pdf

And also confirm the Status of Passthrough Compatible Mode on the Zidoo:

I honestly can't see why I can't replicate this but maybe your EDID will give me a clue.
