    Hello all,
have unfortunately found nothing in the search, so here is my question:
I have the Zidoo Z10 Pro, I am very satisfied, only he does not find many of my movies, although they are all spelled correctly. I can change the posters manually, that's not the problem, but many movies he does not find at all.
My example: 136/178 films scanned, 42 films are missing. 30 of them I can edit manually, the remaining 12 are not findable.
Does anyone have a tip for me? The movies in the explorer are all there.
    Thanks a lot

Can you give a few examples of file names that do not scrape?

Hello RSQuattro, welcome to the forum.
Zidoo Home Theater uses themoviedb for scrapping. Please check if a manual search gives you a match.

    here the examples:
    John Wick Kapitel 3
    Der Hobbit Eine unerwartete Reise
Der Herr der Ringe Die Gefaehrten
    Der Hobbit Smaugs Einoede
Der Herr der Ringe Die Zwei Tuerme
Der Herr der Ringe Die Rueckkehr des Koenigs
    Rambo 5 Last Blood
    3 Engel fuer Charlie
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Star Wars Episode III Die Rache der Sith
    etc.

I changed the language from German to English but success

    I'll recheck with auto scrapper

For now I can just confirm that's something not working as expected. I'll try to figure out what's wrong. Screenshot_20201223-111209.png

I might be wrong here, but I think the TMDB API uses translation rather than the official German titles for movies.

This wouldn't account for titles such as "John Wick Kapitel 3" which is a direct translation, but it might for something like "3 Engel fuer Charlie" where a direct translation would be "Charlie's Engel"

It all depends on the filename -> themoviedb title matching

Der Hobbit - Eine unerwartete Reise (2012)
    John Wick Kapitel 3 (2019)
    Rambo - Last Blood (2019)

Star Wars Episode III - Die Rache der Sith (2005)

    Auto Scrapper is not working.
But the main problem is that he can't find about 20 movies at all. These are also not found in the overview or unscanned

My recommandation is to skip the internal Home Theater scrapper and to use tinyMediaManager.
To give you an idea how tinyMediaManager and Home Theater works together

    This is my starting poing
    Screenshot 2020-12-23 115138.png
Run tinyMediaManager. After first start it will guide you throught setup.
    select all and right mouse

    Screenshot 2020-12-23 125914.png

    Screenshot 2020-12-23 132345.png

    First movie is not clearly
    Screenshot 2020-12-23 130357.png

select first movie and right mouse
    Screenshot 2020-12-23 130011.png

    Screenshot 2020-12-23 130029.png
    press Search

    Screenshot 2020-12-23 130101.png

    Screenshot 2020-12-23 124717.png

make sure in the Home Theater settings to check
NFO Parse to Precedence (Preferentially parse NFO files) and Use local images first

I guess I've missed your point. These 20 doesn't show up at all. For any reason Home Theater skips them. It might be the file type, file curruption or ...

I've clean up my posts and replaced all screenshots by an English version to make it easier for others to follow

    Hello,

since the last 3 fw, the scan has improved, if the titles of your movies are named as on the tmdb and tvdb website there is no problem with ht4
whether in English or French on my side.

for information: TVDB will soon pay and they will abandon their current API in March 2021. After that, it's either the companies that pay for a license, or it will be the user and it will be the same for TMDB, I'm curious to know what will zidoo do?

    see you

tinyMediaManager is in negotiation with TVDB for license fee. I'm not aware of any plans the TMDB API will not be available for free.
