Just wondering ZIDOO X9S support external a USB3.0 pioneer BDR-XD05TB bluray player to play 4k mkv files with HDR on a 25gb bluray disc from the external bluray player. Just wondering if it will also play 3d top and bottom or side by side 3d mkv files on a 25gb bluray disc playing on the external USB3.0 pioneer BDR-XD05TB bluray player. I have most of my 4k and 3d movies backed up to bluray already so just want to know if it will play them from the 25gb bluray discs on the external USB3.0 pioneer BDR-XD05TB bluray player

    Thanks

Pioneer has released a series of external Blu-ray disc burners in Japan, featuring a USB-C cable to connect to Android devices and easily transfer their audio CD libraries.

Available in Japan next month, the BDR-XD07J-UHD, BDR-XD07BK, BDR-XD07R and BDR-XD07 W models are bundled with a USB Type-C cable to connect to Android devices. With Pioneer's 'Stellanova' Wireless Hi-Res player app installed to an Android smartphone, Japanese users can dirtectly import and playback audio CDs, without using a PC. However, this kind of conection requires an external power supply for the BD drives (DCA-003 AC adapter), which is sold seperately.

It looks like they only work with the pioneer Stellanova app. You could always try it however if it doesn’t work getting zidoo to add support will probably not happen.

For $120 USD (the cost of the player) why not just buy a 2TB external hard drive and use that instead?
