What is best format for usb hdd?
    fat32 , ntfs or ext4 ?

FAT32 does not support files over 4GB
    NTFS is much cpu hungry
Ext4 can't be used with ext2fsd. I tried, and i lost data after hdd was disconnected from Windows.
    exFAT is simple and efficient.

I chose NTFS format with 64K cluster, this because is much faster than 4k cluster.
exFAT is ok but not portable, also using external HDD on router is not supported.
    Router support NTFS, FAT, FAT32
I always use defrag to defragment external NTFS hdd before use with zidoo.
