Hi I'm connecting my synology to Zidoo and it's work fine when I play large size movie the real-time bit rate over 100 mb/s start to paused for A couple of seconds and keep doing this during the whole movie and when I check the way how to connect the Zidoo with a Synology in the website I noticed after I update my synology some of the Setting was changed For example the it was like what was recommended from them SMB 2 Max minimum and the minimum is SMB 1 when I try to change it I get letter from Synology saying Minimum SMP protocol We strongly advise against using his MB1 because this is older protocol has known security issue related to run somewhere and other malware Is this protocol affect the Speed of reading from synology? Should I change it anyway Or I'm missing something My network is the Gigabit and I did static IP in everywhere I mean in all devices except my switch I couldn't do it And Everything connected with ethernet port If you have an idea How to fix it Please let me know thank you so much
Check your cables and connections. It sounds like a bad cable or connection is causing a link to drop from 1,000 Mbps to 100 Mbps.
