ZIDOO 8K Media player coming soon.

Anyone who has gotten a chance to test out the new players.. have they finally fixed the multichannel audio tag to be read and displayed correctly? Can’t believe all my DTS-MA 5.1 tracks are still showing up as 7.1 etc. Surely these new fancy boxes display them correctly??

 

Yes, all fixed.

Goodness knows what the problem was with the Realtek boxes - I banged on about this for literally years, but I can confirm that the new boxes reported everything correctly.

 

Me too.. I took a day off..lol..than they mailed me it would coem later". Guess I will take an other day off soon

Zidoo 8K is available in India. The seller contacted me if i want to upgrade from existing pro to 8K.

Its unbelievable. How not many of you who had preordered the 8K models haven't received the product yet?

Its unbelievable bec so many of you have already placed the order and haven't received it yet whereas in India its available to buy considering India is not its origin country.

Since its manufactured in china I thought it will be first available out there before making it to other countries.

 

They were released in China first so I guess it's just a matter of geography. Maybe India was next.

Futeko in the UK had an estimated ship date of 31st July and given that was only an estimated date and their shipment is on the way from China, I don't think that's bad at all.

 

Last time i checked india is a lot closer to China
So less to travel and quicker to receive than say the UK .

If i sold a product in the Uk good chance France would receive it first before say Australia .

 

Another one here who has bought and is waiting for the zidoo z9x 8k. My current player is the zidoo z1000 pro and I hope it is worth the change.

is the choppy playback issue from z9x pro solved on the 8k?

 

Never seen a single instance of it.

 

India is the country where people care the least about Zidoo....Zidoo is definitely not really popular choice in India.

 

Very interesting - so what would you say is the most popular choice in India?

 

Most of the crowd, they just use cable TV connection for watching movies, TVs internal streaming apps for streaming online movies.
A very affordable Amazon Fire TV stick is most famous choice.

 

But then.. You no longer experience it on the Z9X Pro also..
The choppy playback is making me crazy on the Z9x pro and I am considering to get the Z9X 8k now if its really solved.
