There is a new Kodi 17.6
Unfortunately Extended Info Script is not working on 17.4 On internet lots of people are saying that it works on 17.6. So could you please update ZDMC to 17.6 ?
You could try this fix/workaround to get rid of the Extended Info Script error:
But you need root and the directory names could be a bit different for ZDMC.
I have installed the 17.6 and the movies are not mark as read automaticaly. Is anybody is having the same problem ?
I am very sorry if the question is already answered in the forum but I can not find it. I have ZDMC 17.4 installed and I have configured it as I like it, with the skin and addons that I like the most. I tried to install ZDMC 17.6 but it does not install. I have seen that the advice in these cases is to uninstall ZDMC and install the new version. But my question is: will this deconfigure everything I have now? That is, the configuration of the skin and the addons installed? Thank you very much for the help.
yes, it will wipe the settings/addons/etc
Is there a way to Update ZDMC without uninstall ?
Sadly no. It won't rewrite the old version. You may find a plugin to backup settings. But I did not search for one. I just export my library to a sdcard and reimport in new version. I don't use meany plugins and I did this so meany times I can redo my settings in under 1 minute
Okay. It's a major inconvenience, do not you think? Is there any way to backup the settings and addons before deleting the application and installing the new version? In that case, then I could recover everything as I have it right now? Thanks again for the help.

I asked for sources. I don't want to decompile apk Please Zidoo, all KODI modifications needs to be open source...
For ZDMC 17.6 is better firmware 1.4.12 or 1.4.16?
backup internal storage/Android/data/com.zidoo.zdmc before you uninstall the old zdmc.
install new one.
run for the first time.
restore the backup to overwrite.
Remember to show hidden files in your file manager app.
Thank you very much!
Sorry. Memory glitches. The correct path to be backuped should be
An addon named backup should do the job. But I prefer the direct directory backup/restore method because it is faster and more convenient than addon.
Separate names with a comma.
