Z9X8K ISSUES

Thanks, i think for TV's is this not so importend, mostly projectors need more time to do this. For example my Benq w4000i need 10 seconds after switching before i have a picture again.

 

Yep - I'm with you - my Samsung TV connected via an AVR probably takes 5s now, but my old JVC takes 15s (madness!)

Hello friends, I own Zidoo Z9 8K. My question is, why does it give me a memory error while watching Smarttube 8K videos? If I install the 1.1.1.47 beta version, can I install the original software when it comes out?

 

Definitely they have to work on that issue!!

Does this link really work?? I tried it last night, downloaded from another site and every time my Z9X8k said it wasn`t installed, when I went back to APK to check it said it was installed, but I could not find it anywhere. Now I have found this one on this site, it`s the same as last nights download, but I found it here and its from 2024. Will it work if I download it to my PC, install it on USB and then on the Zidoo?

I now have a new projector and that only takes 4-5s.

HDMI sync is a display issue, not a Zidoo issue.

 

Yes I see you upgraded to the JVC DLA NZ800! Very, very good purchase...........

 

Just checked my Z9X8k Pro, its not on the system, it was to change the main screen so I could see everything without switching from one to another. I was hoping to get a main screen like this, found out on internet that this is with Google installation, to get this I would have to download the "G" version.

 

That look is the more as many would say the Cheaper look Home screen compared to what now comes with all the new 8K 2024 Models out now .

But were all different !

P.s. we have had that older look for near enough 6-7 years odd so to have a more prof refined look took us years to all get .

Its your box so do as you please
but installing diff home screens or unofficial items can then poss cause opperating issues or crashes etc.
Witch you dont need watching a long awaited 4K Blockbuster movie for the evening …….

 

When I added my movies to the Poster Wall app, it seems to be missing quite a few movies across each drive. Out of about 4500, only 39xx were picked up. About another 100 in the unmatched section. They're stored on a Synology NAS and Plex/Jellyfin matches them all fine. My naming format is always Movie title with year in () after. Not sure what I'm doing wrong and will probably use the Plex app mostly anyways, but curious what is going on.

Ya I'd seen that post before back when my Z9X choked pretty hard and I was trying to figure it out. I had to move to Jellyfin on that because of it. This 8K is pretty snappy though.

Turns out I just didn't realize that it grouped collections together and counted them as 1 per collection for the total at the top, so all seems to be good.

 

Issue with video play back sometimes the screen goes dim then after stop and re play it is ok?

 

You still need to provide more detail. What device do you have? What is your setup etc. What type of file causes issue etc.

 

My set up is Z9X 8K connected directly to Optoma 4k projector with optical connection to AV amp. This happens with .mkv files.
