Z9X 8K/Z30 PRO/Z3000 PRO/UHD8000 First Impressions

1080p is 2K.

 

Hello New to the Forum.
I recently purchased a Zidoo UHD8000 everything works fine with the exception of matching my movies. I previously owned a 1000pro witch matched all my movies with no problems. I have tried everything from entering the IMDB number on the Web UI and factory resetting the Zidoo UHD8000 but nothing works. Why wont even the web interface work with IMDB number? is this thing broken? I posted this in another thread and it seesm like Zidoo matching function with TMDB is not working due some kind of API/Zidoo sever issue.

Is anyone else having this issue too!! If so has Zidoo acknowledged the issue and are they trying to fix it? This is a major issue.

Trailers sorted as well, but as I'm sure you know, I don't give a monkeys about online trailers

 

Yeah, I know, but you also don't use tinymediamanger, but, to some, all trailers matter

The TMDB breakage stuffs up functionality other than just matching movies. For example, for any movie that does not have locally cached information (from viewing it's entry before TMDB broke), the poster wall will constantly refresh and that results in annoying flashing. When you go to see the details of cast, they are empty. At best you will get their name. There were a few more glitches I encountered...

 

Hey guys, long time no see.

Right, gonna buy, or planning at least, a z30 8k for 120€ (used like new with warranty and giving away my z9x ).

After reading all these posts, I start to doubt my choices (firmware bugs)

My z9x runs flawlessly (still on firmware v6.4.42).

Opinions ?

 

There are users who claim that everything works fine for them (or their friends). There are users who have a lot of problems, and there are those who are somewhere in the middle. And you won't know how your Z30 will work with your equipment until you try it. After all, the person you're swapping with for a Z9X is doing it for a reason . I'd ask for that Z30 they're offering you for at least a day to test it out, if possible.
I myself switched from the Z9X to the Z30 Pro and would be very happy if it weren't for the numerous playback errors that really hinder my enjoyment of the new device, which is undoubtedly faster and more advanced.

Anyone know what is maximum color output of : Zodoo Z9x 8k S928X-K , 4k with YUV422 , YUV444 or YUV420 ?
