Z9X 8K Web Interface?

I've searched the forums here and saw messages saying that you can access a web interface at http://IP_ADDRESS:9528. I entered my player's IP Address followed by :9528 and I get a problem loading page error message. Does the Z9X 8K not have a web interface or is it use a different port number?

Have you confirmed the IP address you used is the same as indicated for the Zidoo in the router and indeed in the Zidoo on the of chance a change had occurred?

 

Yes, I have the correct IP address. the error is can't connect, exactly what you get when you go to a web address with no web interface. See the screenshots below .

 

Can you ping the box from a DOS prompt?

 

Change browser and close AV and/or firewall, then try again. Actually Firefox is quite odd in network behaviour.

 

Also, you're not trying to use https are you? That would generate a Timeout.

 

I found a solution: I had to go to http://IP_ADDRESS:9528/pc/ and I got in.
