Z20 pro stuck on “Hello”

I need help please - I’ve had the Zidoo unit for a few weeks, upgraded to the latest firmware soon after, but this morning while tidying up my menus the box froze, and now when switched off at the switch and on again - I get no picture just the HELLO prompt on the LED screen.

whats the best steps to recover - is it a reset or something more, or a hardware fault?

My z9x pro occasionally gets stuck on "hello" with no output. Powering off and back on solves it for me.

 

Tried 6 times now with drive removed - just sticks on hello

 

Very odd - Probably the best course of action is a full reflash:

Follow the instructions to the letter, making sure to format the USB stick as FAT32 and renaming the file to install.img

I presume you can use any USB disk formatted correctly not a specific U disk

 

Any USB stick will do as long as it's FAT32.

 

Disconnecting and reconnecting HDMI cable may help.
