Hi, I've been working on renaming/transcoding all my old files that didn't work. I can't seem to use TVDB to find anything. There are a couple shows out of the three options TMDB/TVDB/TVMAZE that only TVDB has. For example Tom and Jerry, I have to find each episode as a movie through TMDB and on TVMAZE I can't find it at all. I did download the Home Theatre 5 Update / TMDB Fix v4.3.52, does this update disable TVDB searching?
I use TMDB for all my matches, movies and tv. The volunteers who work on TMDB seem to be quicker at updating entries. That’s my experience.
TVDB also has Firefly organized in DVD order. Is there a reason TVDB is on the search list but doesn't work?
They have had quite a few problems in the past that's why, even though I'm a member, I've given up using them on Zidoo as TMDB have a full TV section anyway.
That's a shame, there are a few shows that only TVDB has. I use TMDB for 99% of my content. I guess I'll just not have a few shows on the posterwall. Hopefully they release a fix.
It’s worthwhile having TMM on your PC or MAC as you can select a few more sites for matching along with TVDB and TMDB.
I'm able to match with TVDB now, I went to Settings > Other > Recovery and reset > Clear system application data After clearing, all matching works fine.
