Z10 PRO FW 6.0.66 : NO Netflix 4K HDR

Hi,

there's no way to playback Netflix 4K HDR titles on my Z10 PRO with FW 6.0.66 . Is that a known problem? Absolutely no problems with HD titles.

The Netflix TV app version 8.0 (and the 7.x.x previous one) reports that is not possible to playback that specific content and suggests to try with another one. That happens with HDR titles only.

Quick Settings/Display/HDCP from memory...

Some Netflix titles need it on, some don't..

 

Netflix shows hdr on my 1080p tv. Sometimes it just show hd. So I watch a wash out picture and it is bery bad.
How can it do this. It is intersting.
I tried hdcp on/off. But I cant solve

Thank you, I'll investigate about HDCP. I'm sure the Netflix HDR/4K problem resides there. I tried to switch HDCP OFF and Netflix doesn't play even HD titles. When I switch HDCP 2.2 ON it plays HD titles but doesn't play 4K/HDR ones : it must be a connector/cable problem stopping HDCP 2.2 . Hopefully it's not the Z10 PRO itself.

I signed on pictures.
I have non hdr 1080p tv but netflix shows hdr and ultra hd 4k. so it shows wash out colors

 

Because the EDID of the display device is not detected in third party app,You've got the wrong layered encoding.
we are likely to solve it in the next firmware
