On the Zidoo Z1000 pro when watching something from the youtube app, the HDD is used for buffering. Is there a setting to use the internal disk for buffering instead of the HDD? When removing the HDD, and after starting the mediacenter again. Youtube is just working fine, buffering from the internal drive. But starting the mediacenter again with HDD inserted, buffering takes place from this HDD. I am using an old HDD, which is not quiet.
If you want an advice the app "Smart YouTube Tv" is really better (https://smartyoutubetv.github.io/) more smooth than official app and without adds!!!
So with an say Z9X with no hard drives And watching You Tube how would it access the hard drive ? your issue maybe internet speed / or the actual app etc
He removed his HDD to test, so that simulates a Z9X. No bufferring issues because that forces it to use the internal disk instead.
Yes removed my HDD to test, and youtube app is working fine with buffering on the internal drive. The smart youtube app is performing better than the original app.
