I have migrated to the X9S box. Who do I need to reach out to in order to get access to the source code for the HDMI IN app that has replaced the zidoo_recorder?
I don't know if they are going to release the source code, but THIS could be useful for you. It would be nice that someone develops a decent capturing app with higher video and audio bitrates (and audio bitrate should be selectable from a list, like video bitrate is).
The ZidooDigitalSignage repo from github which includes pre-built APKs of the app does not work on X9S using the latest (1.4.6) firmware release. For example, running the "Hdmi in" portion and returning back to the app menu will crash the app when the app calls RtkHDMIRxManager release(). There are other video lockups I've seen with this app. The VideoAndHdmiIN repo (zidoo-x9s branch) freezes with 1.4.6 firmware. None of the source/demos in github for the X9S and 1.4.6 appear reliable.
well, it's not a surprise, thay probably did changes to the firmware and updated the hdmi-in with latest updates.
