I received my X1 II yesterday . And here are my initial impressions . 1. I tried ZDMC and loaded some add ons ... ok so far no issues 2. Playback on ZDMC had no lip sync issues . 3. Installed you tube , while max resolution seen was 720P . Playback was smooth and very good with my limited test. 4. Tried playback with files coming from a shared PC folder using SMB , access via Kodi and ES explorer was not a problem , however using Media Center , I cannot access the shared files , same problem with the X6. 5. Tried audio passthrough with DTS and Dolby , ... Passed 6. HD audio passthrough .. Dolby tru DTS ... failed HD DTS 7.1 .. failed , intermittent drop outs 7. City temperature wrong display, setting is C but F is shown

I was using a wired connection. I have less issues with the x1 II s at initial release versus my x6 where I started with v1.30 firmware. I plan to try out wireless and report back . Yes I was lucky to get the prize .. Thank you Zidoo i find the PQ of the X6 is superior and has a more responsive GUI.

Hope you get your prize soon and we could compare notes. Another thing that didn't work for me was CEC control , it would not work with my Pioneer Kuro TV. I could not find a on/off switch either and maybe Zidoo mods could point the way..
I can't get mine to work with my Logitech K400 wireless keyboard. The enter key doesn't work right. The keyboard works with every other Android box I own.
Hi i am using another wireless keyboard measy gp800. actually typing the reponse with it. the enter key on mine works. and should be geenericc with any keyboard. Can you try connectinng a usb extender to the logitech dongle. I find it makes the response a lot better.? Just got an update with weather app and corrects the F to C temperature issues.

The TV CEC switch is on , it works with my Raspberry Pi , but not with Xidoo X1 II , also when I tried the X6 , there is an error displayed in my Pioneer Kuro TV when I first turn on the X6 .. I will try with different TV set if it works

Hi, My Kodi settings is the same , I also get the same info on my Pre Pro ( Emotiva XMC-1) , but the problem is every few seconds ( 8 to 10) sound drops out , or sound will cut off then return . Both using Kodi and local player. but kodi has a lot more dropout while local player only every 10 seconds. DTS-HD is using the DTS-HD audio stream passthrough mode and you will notice the frequent dropout of the audio . 2. Dolby Digital is using the AC3 stream ( Non-HD) , Audio is no problem 3. 10 bit Video .. Pls note the artefacts on the video I also have checked movie with Dolby True HD signal in mkv format , also frequent dropouts ( Failed)
