Will we have Spotify Lossless in 2026?

I believe there is a max of 192 kHz PCM over USB for the Ultra. Some models of external DAC have been reported by some users on the WiiM forum as being tricky to get or stay connected. When I tried the USB on the Ultra it worked fine with my DACs. If you use a hub then you can have USB storage devices and USB Audio output running simultaneously.

 

Ahaha!! Maybe I’m dreaming: Spotify Lossless seems to be working on my DMP-A6!
I am using Spotify connet and I do not have to run the Eversolo spotify app!

Doesn’t work for me using an iPad or iPhone

 

It working for me. May take Spotify a while to get all regions live. Make sure that you have selected lossless. At first I could not connect at all. Than it stated in “high” until I changed it to lossless.

This tells me it’s been a Spotify issue all along, since no firmware update was required on Eversolo’s side.

I was not one who wanted to change streamers, since wiim would mean losing Idageo, Apple Lossless, and for the touchscreen model airplay 2. I’m happy to stay with eversolo, and may even my the t8 soon, since I’m using an external DAC.

 

So you are now able to change on your phone or iPad ,etc the Eversolo connected device to lossless without first opening the Spotify app on the Eversolo ?

 

Yes. I can just open Spotify, connect it to my eversolo, and lossless works, once you enable lossless in the app.

 

Well the Spotify app on my iPhone still has lossless greyed out and says Eversolo is not compatible

 

If it does not work in a day or two, I’d contact Spotify and get to second level support.

 

Limitations for what? You can connect any DAC via USB, Coax/spdif, the ultra will be a transport.

 

I restarted the two Eversolo’s I have and yes I can check off lossless now on iPhone app . One Dmp-A6 required two restarts to get Spotify connect to not have a greyed out lossless selection on my iPhone.

 

I cannot enable Lossless in the app, it is grayed out for DMP-A6. And no matter which quality I choose, it will revert to Normal 96kbps

 

Verify update of app spotify, uninstall, install

 

I uninstalled and installed Spotify app and Eversolo app ‍♂️

 

Did you restart the Dmp-A6 . That’s what worked for me

Please ensure your firmware has been upgraded to v1.5.30 and reboot device. We implemented it on v1.5.30 but are awaiting final approval from Spotify. Spotify approved it just last week, and we cannot promote it until then.

 

My firmware is v 1.5.3.0 and use android telephone no losless
