A good question, perhaps. The Eversolo players are outstanding, and I do enjoy using the A8. However, my family also has to interact with the player, and frankly, there are some real pain points that coming from the Blusound world could make it better. These are my thoughts: The source list is a mess and could use some work to make it easier to use. One suggestion is to allow sources that are not being used to be hidden through a setting in the interface. For instance, I only use the HDMI and the external player. The same could apply to the outputs, which I expect most people will set up once and never change. Develop a preset menu that includes the following: The ability to set Playlists, albums, and songs from any of the native apps - Tidal, Amazon, Deezer. Also, add Internet Radio Stations. Add a preset to change input/output combinations - such as TV(HDMI)/XLR, etc Create a tile for the front screen - files and settings could be turned into two buttons vertically taking up half the space to make space for a preset menu which could then expose a screen of tiles scrollable horizontally to access presets. Allow presets to exist in the shortcut menu Build in the Plexamp integration to offer a different opportunity to the costly Roon to access the player. What are you suggestions?

My opinion is that while I am not against increasing capability in the user interface, however added complexity just adds to issues, rather than necessarily resolving them. By nature it needs to remain simple and obvious..which, given that it isn’t even necessary to read the manual, it has largely achieved. For example, If any given user cannot reasonably establish an input and an output, then any level of increased complexity as you suggest to include is simply a minefield. proven interfaces are simple and obvious, then complexity can be offloaded elsewhere.. eg At this time, any user can already create any playlist at all of their own choosing on their own phone or computer and just stream it directly to the A6/8… so it’s a challenge to see what is being solved for?.. it’s a player at the end of the day.
Option to disable the screensaver. As @THXjay alludes to, there are other threads posted about feature adds/changes requests. Maybe it would be good for a consolidation of these...if Zidoo/Eversolo even read them.

Just coming out of my first two days with an A6 ME + A6 LPS, here's my preliminary wishlist: For all streaming services: - When I sort my favorites by "Date Added" I would like to see that become persistent - The possibility to bring individual streaming services (eg Tidal Qobuz) to the main screen - For UPNP sources, add a ""Date Added" sorting order - For UPNP sources, add a search function (I have 3Tb of music on my Uniti Core and I hate having to scroll all the way to the bottom)
Thanks .. I actually had noticed ... but realize some nuance is in order .. From the perspective of my OCD ;-) I would like to see these icons on the main bar, and not on the widgets bar below ... I like minimal screen filling
I want a customizable theme with a hide/show menu so I can hide the stuff I don’t want to see. I think all theme modes are too crowded with information. Also, the ability to scale font size to preference because I can’t read the song title from the listening position if I also want to see album art. I want it minimalistic, tidy and readable like in the added picture
