Web Interface Password

I've forgotten my password to the web interface. I found this old thread in the 1619DR section https://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/how-to-change-password-to-web-interface.95555/ but that doesn't seem to be working. The web interface is 9528 on BPD devices so I tried changing that. Is there a different way to reset or pull the password on my Z9X PRO?

 

Those instructions haven't changed and should still work. You use port 9529 to reset because that uses the API not the web interface (which is on port 9528).

I assume you have the IP address correct?

Another way in is to use 17777777 as the password to allow you to reset it.

Odd, just tested here on the same box, same firmware and works as normal - possibly a secure http thing in your web browser? Mind you, it would have told you.
