Sorry I had just happened to notice you came on board, however , just my Thoughts and opinions, you raise a valid question that I can’t answer , I will not take ,install any updates , Upgrades, Or Changes, Until they have in place a certain period of time until I make a decision as to any updates they actually Perform well and are feasible, however, I am a big believer in certain changes upgrades And/or replacements, my biggest concern, I Don’t fix, update , upgrade , install any change on any unit that is performing well, best of luck I’m confident you will find An adequate answer to your question, , please have a great weekend, enjoy :-}
Hi all, I understand this may have caused some confusion. I'd like to clarify that: 1. The A6 has never supported EQ functionality with digital inputs, as it is designed exclusively for use with the built-in player input. 2. Both the A8 and A10 support EQ and DSP functionalities. Hello Kim , Thank you for your time, concern and information , Per the A8 and A10 on EQ & DSP uses and units functions, with the use and configuration as such , With these units In order to better simplify this I will leave the A6 out from the forwarding uses and information. I did not anticipate on bringing Any further discussion into this particular subject, however I do absolutely understand what you are trying to convey, however, I believe al of my statements Are of a very different nature as follows repetitiously speaking, in the use of a CD transport or a dedicated CD transport, hookup of any of these said Stated units into , COAXIA SPDIF #1 the , GRAPHIC EQ AND PARAMETRIC EQ , were indeed available for use, As we have used an incorporated many times, countless times, Exactly the way described above, They worked without fault excellent unit, not needed but extremely nice feature or amenity, while trying to employ this one evening as we always used and had absolutely no problems with such, UNTILL we discovered the if the A8 was not set to Internal player The output port choices we had used many numerous times were totally gone not there not shown blank gone, now, at this time, this had left us with 4 Output ports total Choices of the following, BAL-XLR, ANALOG RCA, XLR/RCA, & IIS. / ( OPT/COAXIAL & USB DAC ) * we’re gone totally nonexistent, at that time we had naturally Assumed There must be perhaps some type of technical or internal problem we imagined maybe with the operating system, As the relays would not have caused This particular issue the available choices still would’ve appeared. Hopefully, I believe you can actually see the issue at hand in which now demonstrates, what occurred. That the only DAC that we could possibly use was or was available being the internal AKM DAC that are incorporated into the A8,through the outputs shown as I state below, On the bottom Selection of available outputs, In which I have listed above. this concern or issue was never about the use of DSP features, it was only pertaining to in standing on the EQ feature that was available through the use of the last two available outputs, that were now no longer available for use shown as ( OPT/COAXIAL & USB DAC ) ✅ - gone if not set to shown as, Internal player only, At that present time, we had no inclination as to why ? For the next approximately 10 days to 2 weeks after this was discovered, in other words no more CD input to the outputs Of ( OPT/COXIAL OR USB DAC ) now not available, Icons just SIMPLY disappeared , Again must set to internal player ONLY, oh well has one buddy stated, nice while it lasted !!! Still, as simply stated the Eversolo A8, is one hell of a nice unit period … Kim , When this first transpired, there were many , numerous post on this forum pertaining to the above described situation, Also, after numerous posts stated same from users , Eversolo issued a statement to the effect of , The particular features or outputs that you speak of are no longer available, on the A8 For use, however, they will only be available On our new Eversolo DMP-10 That is going to be released in the very or near foreseeable future, When a forum member contacted Eversolo, And asked them is there or are there anyway this can be rectified or put back as such Eversolo‘s answer was NO. This was I had been speaking on countless times, Not as per anything else that pertains to the UNIT and any other way use or situation of only lack of use of what was already there, and Discontinued, Terminated or deleted.
