sorry for my late reply. My A6's MAC address is 80:0a:80:5c:fb:bb but it's not important anyway because today I updated it via USB.

I was really excited when I saw this in the changelog:
Optimized the function of opening the playback details interface when playback starts.

And then it was another disappointment.

how are you turning on your A6? I'm using the remote control (I don't know if that matters) and I have enabled automatic playing on startup in the settings. After startup it continues playing but it doesn't switch to the playback screen.

I've updated the firmware for my DMP-A6 to v1.4.60.

Unfortunately, I'm having exactly the same issue as you.

Although I have turned on "Jump to the playback screen when starting" and "Automatically open the playback screen on startup" in the playback settings, the music automatically starts after I turn on my DMP-A6, but it does not show or "jump" to the playback screen. It stays on the home screen.

The "Jump to playback screen ..." feature used to work for me up v1.3.xx. However, since v1.4.xx, it has not worked.

It seems a little strange that most users (I'm guessing) don't seem to have this problem.

I hope Eversolo can resolve this issue in a future update.

 

I have the same request. The long delays while scrolling through local folders (SSD or USB) with large number of music files is so annoying that I wanted to sell the DMP-A6 and replaced it with the 250 model from Hifirose.

But the release notes suggest that this will finally be fixed? Should I wait? How long do I have to wait?

it never worked on my A6 in any version.

 

This update was the first time that I used USB because the OTA just took too long. I think that they probably never started it for this version.

1. So far, the pushing of v1.4.60 is mainly for the app's trial.

2. The official way to get v1.4.60 is OTA. The other way you get the package, may not the latest one.

3. The issue of opening the playback details interface when playback starts, please confirm the internal player is selected. And you can try toggle on and off to retry, if it's still not working, it's recommended to do a factory reset or wait for the next version coming soon.

Yes, the internal playback is selected and I tried to toggle on and off options in settings. I'm not going to do a factory reset. Let's hope it'll be fixed in one of the future versions.
