And here we go for the rest of the range...

Again, this is a biggie... bigger in fact ;)

More stuff has been added and fixed since the Z9X release and again, the devs have been working very hard on this for the last few weeks.

    Headlines

BluRay Menu navigation has been completely rewritten. I've tested every BluRay image I have (and some I didn't have yet!) and they all played and navigated correctly. We had some issues with Sony releases but that's been fixed now too.

This firmware introduces Firmware Roll-Back to the AMLogic range - I'll be posting more about this next week.

And another big feature - HDR metadata injection. Now there's no need for an HDFury device to spoof LLDV - all of you with projectors and Samsung TVs, you can now enjoy native Dolby Vision without an HDFury. Again, I'll be posting about this next week with full details, on the Recommended Settings page.

There is also an HDR10+ Priority mode so you can choose to use the HDR10+ layer if there is one rather than the Dolby Vision layer if you wish.

MCH PCM audio mapping has been corrected and optimised - I know a few people were waiting for this.

    So i'm on V1.3.30 (Z3000)

    Happy news
4.0 music and 7 channel music is played correctly

    Disappointing news.
    Still no gapless playback.
Am i missing a option/setting that needs to be turned on?
The gap seems to sound different. But it is still more then a second.

    This is so disappointing!

I'm very excited for this one. Hopefully the daily unexpected reboots, and inability to watch half my library (DV sources) are fixed with items 15, 37 and 14!

Well the hope was short lived, DV still unwatchable since 13.0.5 ;(

It’s here, but your TV obviously has to support HDR10+.

    Yes, indeed. I was mistaken.
I thought I could play the HDR layer and ignore the DV layer in the files, which I constantly have problems with.

Which Custom EDID are you using? Could you please show me your EDID settings? I’m trying to get the new Dolby Vision/HDR10+ content priority option to appear on my Z9X 8K.

Help... I was messing around with the new EDID and LLDV settings, entered some data, and everything shut off—now I just have a black screen. I’ve tried turning it off and on again, but I don't know what to do... any help would be appreciated!

    Hello,

    Thank-you for this update!

What means : 14. Added HDR InfoFrame injection for LLDV output when using Custom EDID.?

If we use and hd fury with a samsung TV, with this new feature, is the hd fury useless? If it's the case, it would be wonderful!

Congratulations to the developers! I don't quite know how or why, but the image quality is spectacular. I've noticed an amazing level of detail and contrast, so when things are done well, it deserves recognition. Dolby Vision is also working well for me, and the stuttering I had with version 1.3.05 is gone. Some movies with menus, like Interstellar and Blade Runner 2049, won't open, but that's a minor issue, so thank you anyway.

Yes, you could always do that but I think we figured out that didn’t fix your problems..
