Am I mis-remembering or were there some settings that helped lessen the instances of audio not coming back after a seek function?

Are others noticing an increase in these instances on the new firmware/

 

If I read the same file xxxx S01E01.mkv from the file manager, no issues !? If I transfert the files to my NAS, no problems...very strange. Only problems when the files are on the usb SSD 1TB Samsung EVO750 and read from the Poster Wall....

 

Very odd - so if the files are on a NAS and read from the Poster Wall they are ok and if they are on the Samsung EVO and read from the Poster Wall, they are not?

And what Zidoo model is this? How is the EVO connected.

I have a Z30 Pro here with a Samsung EVO installed and I've never seen an issue like this.

 

Z9X 8K basic model, the EVo is connected via USB 3 (sata to USB cable) but many others series work fine on the same SSD, so it's even more strange...

 

Ok, so:

1. You have a number of other series on the Samsung EVO and they work fine.

2. You have one particular series on the same Samsung EVO that doesn't work.

Is that right?

 

I have a least 7 complete series with the same problems

 

But if you have other series that work under the same circumstances... kind of points you in a certain direction no?

 

I've always used local trailers, but just to test it out, I enabled both, and the online trailers take between 4 and 5 seconds to load—that's good...

 

I've had this through many firmwares. Only happens on lossy audio and never on lossless. To me it's now happening about the same as previous firmwares. As you say a simple pause\start fixes it so not a biggy. I notice we both have Denon AVRs so could it be an issue with Denon?

 

Finally. Can't wait for Z30 Pro release.

What a great update. It feels so smooth now and my concert DVD (with pcm/ac-3) work right now.
