Please add the SLEEP issue (box goes to sleep after 24 hours) as it it apparently should be an easy fix...no other android box has this issue so it's obviously just a setting.

The issue is minor compared to the others...but if it's low hanging fruit for the devs, why not take the easy win?

Thanks @Zidoo Support-Kim for your answer.
    But:
It’s mind-boggling that with a device at this price, we’re being asked to buy an extra part just to stop working something supposed to work but keeps crashing... I have three set-top boxes that I bought for between €60 and €80 — Amlogic S905X4-K and Realtek — and they all manage to run it! ... without rebooting or anything. Is it normal that a €300 set-top box can’t do the same?
Furthermore, several requests (some of which have been pending for years) have been made to improve HT so that it aligns with all video libraries: display the audio badge for the default language, or for all tracks (up to 3, for example); separate film series from TV series in the ‘Unwatched’ category; and allow users to choose between ‘Watched’, ‘Unwatched’ or ‘All’ as in Kodi or Nova Video Player.
As for the stuttering, I no longer experience it, but this box has ‘compatibility issues with certain screens’… And no, it’s not the screen’s fault, as I’ve tested it with my other boxes and haven’t encountered any of these problems!
It would be fitting for Zidoo to show a little more professionalism and a willingness to do things properly, rather than trying to lull its customers into a false sense of security by adding apps or options (which, in my opinion, are ridiculous for a media box) in order to mask its shortcomings.

HT5 bug report reading NFO files in root folder - TV shows - NAS-SMB:
When you have NFO as priority and keep some files (posters, fanart and NFOs) in root folder, Posterwall messes up the posters using the one in root folder for some others. When you enter in the TV series, both poster and fanart are showing the original images correctly. It seems to be more frequent and in more cases while increasing the library collections. The shown issue is appearing in a library of 800 TV series and 700 movies. It happen in TV series only as movies are in category folder and never messed up. The workaround is to move those files in a separate folder.

Hello. Please tell me the specific version of the HT.
Are these repeated episodes in the same folder?

    HT 5.0.76 (confirmed!!)

Sorry, no. They are located there only. Normally I've got all my TV shows packed in separate folder but occasionally I put episodes 4, 5 and 6 of this series in the root folder couple months ago... then two weeks later I noticed such issue in another series. Recently it's much more visible repeating in 3-4 different collections which are well packed in their own folder from the beginning.

I have G firmware. The app installed via play store and it appeared as app on my Zidoo. I opened the app and set up options. I selected a seven day free trial. After selecting free trial it took me back to setting page with option to 'Restore Purchases'. However clicking this option does nothing and I am stuck on that page. I cannot select any video files. See screen shot

I have no idea how this works with music... but this could be an absolute game changer for those of us with scope screens!

Quick try here - installed fine and the app is shown in the app selection group. Quick try with an app - found it as an available player, video played fine, but no audio sound (aac 2.0)...Tried in File Manager - shows up as an available player,, plays video fine, but, no audio sound, even though the avr reports dts/ac3 etc etc.

But as I understand it, this uses it's own software player so you'll lose Dolby Vision, VS10 etc. I also doubt its ability to play nicely with the hardware if it bypasses the SDK's own player - that's the Zidoo's whole raison d'etre - "external" players perform notoriously badly on devices like these - maybe ok for 1080p but doubtful at 4K.

And what about the UI? It won't change that?

Yep. I tried - was helping out a fellow member by testing as asked, but I'll be sticking with HT5 and the Zidoo Player, but each to their own.
