v1.3.05, v1.3.05_G Beta version for Z9X 8K/Z30 PRO/Z3000 PRO/UHD8000

McBluna posted three versions for manual updates, I don't have updates over the air.This is the Z3000-PRO v1.2.40 G to v1.3.02 G, v1.3.02 G to v1.3.05 G,v1.2.40 G to v1.3.05 G.So which one, and in what order, should I install these firmware?

 

It's detecting SDR BT.2020 as SDR now, but outputting at BT.709...

 

And now the SDR BT.2020 switch method under HDR10 in Advanced Settings also outputs BT.709

It worked as it should yesterday.

I have previously reported that arm type subtitles with different colors were not reproduced correctly...this thread refers

While i am thankful a lot has been done on this firmware, i am a little disappointed that the color bug for arm type subtitles has not been fixed

 

Is there a description what the multi-device widget feature that is mentioned in the change log does and how it is set up?

Today I'm going to factory reset my Zidoo. I've had enough. Now the player isn't working as it should.

 

Man it'd be really funny if the Zidoo now outputs everything as BT709.

 

Odd - my Sony confirms BT.2020 if I use that setting, so it's working here.

 

One question, I don't have marked the option of recieve beta versions and the online update show me the V1.3.05.
So, at least in Z30 Pro... is this a beta or stable version?

@Kim you asked me to report back re the LPCM 5.1 bug. Unfortunately it is still there. It’s where the surround channels are incorrect. Surround left is silent and surround right plays the surround left channel for some reason. Would you be able to ask the devs for a fix?

It's not AVI that's the issue - that's just the wrapper - you can easily remux into an MKV. It's the codec that can be a problem - I have some really old stuff that I keep for posterity - old mpeg 2 Video CD rips for example.

 

It allows you to aggregate several "Sources" into one widget - If you have multiple sources it's extremely useful. It's in the Widget Edit screen.

@Markswift2003 my device is on 1.3.01G but when I searched OTA only got 1.3.02G not 05! Should I update it then will receive the latest one 05?
