Well, disaster is a bit over-reaching - a first world problem at the worst!

But yeah, it could do with sorting out.

Hi @Markswift2003 - on my Sony OLED, Reality Creation is just another name for Super Resolution, which only kicks in for Low-- Res------ content....I'll leave you fill in the blanks.

My point was, the input would have to be sub 4k to "do anything".....just sayin.

Yeah got that, but I'd still kill it with fire!

First thing I do with any display is trawl the menus and turn off anything like that - if it's got a stupid name, turn it off!

Completely agree, I use only "TruMotion" and warm temperature - all over other options are completely turned off!

To be fair "TruMotion" sounds exactly like something I'd ban if I was King ;)

Anything that messes with motion is right at the top of my hit list!

What can you do living in such an imperfect world, where there are practically no movies filmed at a real speed of 60 fps or even 48 fps. I don't have a single one. And to avoid watching the jarring jerks of panoramic scenes, etc., you have to turn on this "TruMotion" or any similar.

But the thing is led tv produce nicer colors for DV and LLDV has better color balance while using TvLED some hdr movies and DV bright scene/day scenese are too much bright. Dont you think there are while levels high not in SDR but HDR as well as DV.
While using LLDV there is no such issue.

one thing for sure movie smooth playback and oversharpness issue is connected each other each and super resolution or reality creation. I believe mostly owner of new tvs are effected with that problem.

To be fair the Cinematic Movement option on LG G4 and G5 does a very good job of reducing headaches and nausea without introducing visible artifacts. No soap opera look either.

This is quite important on a large screen (for me 77" viewed from 2m) with content where the director enjoys the wobblycam effect (aka hand-held look). All those big budget productions and they can't afford a tripod, dolly or a steadicam? Shoot in 17k and steady it in post. ;-)

Again - and please try to understand before one of us dies - this has nothing to do with the Zidoo!!!

My Quad rip of Santana (PCM/wav) only plays in Stereo. So confirmed it is not limited to FLAC files in 4.0.

We really need some improvements in content matching - especially around TV series spin off series.

For example - 'Star Trek - Strange New Worlds' always matches to 'Star Trek - The Next Generation' and 'Dexter - Resurrection' always matches to the original 'Dexter'. Also on first sweep it couldn't find 'Alien -Earth' at all. I had to do a rematch to find it

if it has 4 channels and you bit streaam..it should still be 4 channels I guess. Probably the receiver causing it?

I will try to see if my Dneon handles it...on direct/bypass

Hi mark. I dont have a way to read the bit-depth of the incoming signal of the AVR but:
The Zidoo Z3000 reorts all kinds of bit-depths when i play Multichannel Flac files. Only when i play 5.0 or 4.0 it reports them as 44k1/16b stereo

You always say the audio output must be auto. What happens when YOU set it to raw!
If have serious doubts about the auto/raw settings. When i have it to raw the zidoo still downsamples DSD 512 to PCM because hdmi wants it to.
There is a diffence bewteen PCM and flac. Flac-dts is not supported but PCM-DTS is.
