So turning off Reality Creation fixes your sharpness problem?

Yes so far i observed since yesterday
I am unable to use anything other than LLDV.
It ruins my playback. Being stutters
I wish to use tv led but. LLDV is right option for me.
So, i can not use tv led anymore?

after turning off reality creation from tv. Picture and playback gets to normal as it supposed to be

So what does that tell you about which device is causing the problem?

I assume Zidoo already applies its own reality creation, and when the TV’s reality creation is also turned on, it adds too much sharpness. However, the picture quality itself looks normal when tv’s reality creation is turned off, as giving picture quality supposed to be. I’ll need to observe it for a couple more days to be sure, since Zidoo’s picture quality and playback seem to change every few days. I recently performed a factory reset.

    @Markswift2003
Second thing is I set zidoo to 23.97 fps instead of auto. Switching from auto to native movie framrate also disturb smooth playback. I also noticed it. just ket you know.

No, the Zidoo does not apply Reality Creation.

No, the Zidoo picture quality and playback does not change every few days.

Let's try again - you say "the picture quality itself looks normal when tv’s reality creation is turned off" - again, what does that tell you about which device is causing the problem?

    I give up.

Could you please comment on this malfunction?

Its your TV and that reality creation setting that is the variable. Leave it off and you're golden. The Zidoo is not the problem.

    I don't have any FLAC 4.0 96KHz or 192KHz files to test.

But I think it was fixed in v1.2.25. Certainly 96KHz and 192KHz 2 Channel FLAC play correctly in that firmware.

    1. Added SDR.BT2020 output
    2. Added WIFI static IP settings
    3. Fixed the problem of incorrect Jellyfin playback records
    4. Optimized some interface displays
    5. Fixed the problem of 96KHz video outputting 48KHz
    6. Fixed the problem of incorrect display of audio tracks of some sources
    7. Fixed the problem that some AV1 videos could not be played
    8. Fixed incorrectly labelled "Enable AI SR" to correct "Enable AI PQ"
    9. Optimised playback of some m2ts files
    10. Fixed ESC key operation for USB/Bluetooth keyboards

    Hi Guys,

Edit - found the download link through the McBluna Website...

I've just got the Z3000 Pro, it's updated to this V1.2.22 version of the firmware, but I can't work out for the life of me how to transition to the "G" version to access the Google Play Store features.
Sorry, I'm sure this has been addressed a million times.
    Thanks in advance, Dan.

The FLAC format is played by a different program - a music player and not a video player, so obviously these are different problems. Perhaps we should draw the developers' attention to this separately?

But please note that this will be an irreversible process. Once you upgrade to version G, you can only receive the differential package of version G online upgrade in the future. Unless Zidoo launch a full firmware of a normal version with a higher version number at a certain time point!

Sorry - I should have been clearer - I was referring to FLAC audio files, not FLAC in a video file - Stereo 96KHz and 192KHz play at the appropriate sample rate.

    Thank you.

    Confirmed - plays in 2 channel 48KHz

Did some more tests and this is not to do with sample rate. It's to do with both bit depth and LFE channel.

For multichannel FLAC, regardless of Sample Rate and Bit Depth, if there is not an LFE channel, playback is always at 48KHz 16-bit Stereo

For Multichannel FLAC, regardless of Sample Rate and Bit Depth, if there is an LFE channel, Sample Rate and channel layout is correct, but Bit Depth is always 16-bit

    44-16 4.0/5.0/7.0 > 48-16 Stereo
    48-24 4.0/5.0/7.0 > 48-16 Stereo
    88-24 4.0/5.0/7.0 > 48-16 Stereo
    96-24 4.0/5.0/7.0 > 48-16 Stereo
    192-24 4.0/5.0/7.0 > 48-16 Stereo

    44-16 5.1/7.1 > 44-16 5.1/7.1
    48-24 5.1/7.1 > 48-16 5.1/7.1
    88-24 5.1/7.1 > 88-16 5.1/7.1
    96-24 5.1/7.1 > 96-16 5.1/7.1
    192-24 5.1/7.1 > 192-16 5.1/7.1

But note that any results have to take into account EDID - this was testing with an EDID that supports all sample rates up to 192KHz, all channel configurations up to 8 channels and all bit depths up to 24-bit.

Since FLAC is compressed PCM I think these results are probably more indicative of PCM handling rather than FLAC handling, but I'm not 100% sure and haven't tested pure PCM files.

@Eki Shaw , I'll try to make sense of this and put in in the next PDF.

I think it has to do with video codecs being borrowed for music.
And there lfe is normal. In music lfe is introduced very late. After the quadrophony and introduction of the center channel .
4.0 originates in the 70ies. Dts and dolby in the 90ies.
So a lot of music is incompatible if it is handled as video.
Dts es is also problematic . It is not 5.1 or 7.1 so players refuse to play it. (it is 6.1)

    For LLDV:

In DV, I have to turn off Reality Creation; picture brightness is not very high, and the colors are very warm. For HDR, I also have to turn off Reality Creation. The rest is fine, and playback is good.

    For LED TV:

In DV, I need to completely turn off both Sharpness and Reality Creation to achieve normal DV picture quality and smooth playback. For HDR, I have to set Sharpness to 0 and set Reality Creation to Auto to get good picture quality.

Thanks @Markswift2003 for trying to solve this, otherwise it's just a disaster...

All of this has nothing to do with the Zidoo - just pick a mode and a set of picture settings you're happy with and stop fiddling with it!

Well, disaster is a bit over-reaching - a first world problem at the worst!

But yeah, it could do with sorting out.
