To be perfectly honest, there isn't one any more - the beta test group banner is rather dated and hasn't been used for years - I've been toying with the idea of removing it but it's probably not my place to do it - The beta test forum hasn't been active for over 7 years now..

OK. But is there a group of end users, yourself included, that act as beta testers? Or is it just Zidoo themselves and you!

I think it's mostly internal testing followed by me and a couple of other guys who've helped me for the last few years.

Do you talk about throwing directly (pass-through) DTS and DD bitstream from DVD container to receiver?
If so, Kodi solves this issue.

I know, but I would like to use Zidoo's native player. I can't understand how Zidoo lets this happen, it worked even with some old Firmware. I've already installed Kodi on the Zidoo Z9 8k and the Dts and Dolby worked fine, but it should work correctly on the Zidoo player. I don't like Kodi. As I said before, any low-cost TV box would work perfectly.

You are right, zidoo have got to do this correctly with its own player. And if you use musical DVDs with zidoo, you can see another issue with PCM 2.0/96khz audio tracks - they are improperly down sampled into 48khz rate, and it isn't a lossless method.

These are the major issues now and urgent needed!! Actually most of the users will be satisfied when they were solved. ;)

Are you sure about that? This forum is Zidoo Beta Forum and we are all beta testers.

Maybe it needs to be more formal and have more external beta testers. That way maybe we won't find ourselves in the one step forward two steps back situation!

Does this firmware you are testing fully fix these 2 issues? I think it was important to mention this.

@Markswift2003 I'm curious how you are going about testing the DTS sync issue?

As I understood it, you were not experiancing the issue, you or the devs were not able to recreate the issue, so just curious how you are able to test the firmware for this issue?

Like the Eversolo CD Edition, Zidoo should create a UHD8000 play Blu-ray Edition!
