v1.2.05, v1.2.05_G Beta version for Z9X 8K/Z30 PRO/Z3000 PRO/UHD8000

Hi all
Since the installation of the HT5 update, I have on each film one or 2 black screen, I must wait a while during the HDMI reconnection.
I'm sure it's not the file.
Anybody has the same problem ?

I have to say, that since the use of my UHD8000 this kind of black screen (interruption of a film) appeared but not so frequently.

 

Same here, DV movie playing on Z8K through USB, black screen and audio cut, after a few seconds comes back. 2nd time I experienced this with latest firmware and latest HT.

 

And what if you play the same files through file explorer?

 

Just noticed this in HT5. Even though I have 2 Drives "unconnected" and therefore you cannot see the content when you select the Drive in the filter wall if you filter by any other description ie "2024" or "genre" for example, the non-available tv show/film/s appear in the wall

 

Hello everyone
After updating Z30 PRO to version 1.2.05, the HDR10+ output option disappeared in my HDR settings, you can only set HDR10+ Content output mode to SDR, HDR, DV, there is no HDR10+. HDR10+ movies are only played as HDR without +, even with HDR output mode set to Auto, as in the pictures. Does anyone have a similar problem, is it the fault of the new software or maybe bad settings?

 

It happens when your display is non HDR10+ capable like LG Oled.

 

I had this problem several times on one episode of the TV series SILO (Z9X 8K with Panasonic Z95A ) : a black screen during several secondes with the sound continuing. I didn't watch anything else yet.

Everything OK on the same series with my 8000 (on my JVC NP5 projector).

 

I will try that if the problem remains.

 

My TV is a Philips model 55PUS9206/12, it is an LED TV, not OLED and it supports HDR10+.

 

Just tested with my Z9X 8K and no problem here with a Panasonic TV

 

Hi everyone! Does someone have an experience in playing the images of DVD-Audio (Audio_TS), please share!

 

I'm having problems scraping movies, on the latest firmware for the Z9X 8K. It used to work great on the previous firmware. Now, it can't find any hits, using TMDB or any of the other scrapers.

Yeah, pretty hard to not download web-dl using Dolby vision profile 5 lol

Biggest function missing from OPPO is its inability to stutter like the newest Zidoo

 

I skipped that gen of Oppo. Did the Oppo 4k player even have a poster interface or did you have to just select from a list of file names?

Many months since they put the Zidoo z9x8k on sale and still the player creates major problems in the playback of heavy hdr10 files that are played jerkily. Will there be any hope or should I put it in the attic and recover the old z9x that does not have these problems
