So you should be all good. The only difference with mine is that your Sony AV Receiver doesn't seem to support DTS-ES tracks... but no problem with samples apparently. Where do you see that the tracks are not outputting @96 or 192kHz? From your Sony info? Maybe it is just some misleading report (a bug) from the Sony interface? Do you have another source (Blu-ray player, for example) to see what happens in that case?

There is no more patience for such inaction on Zidoo's part. What a beautiful paperweight I have here. :)

I can only speak for my device. Z3000.
My music goes to 192khz and 2.2 mhz.

    After further investigation:
My dolby laps demos do not go beyond 48Khz.
It seems i don't have any file with TRUE True hd.
Can some one point me to a trueHD file with 192Khz sample rate? (forget atmos, thats always 48Khz ??? )

Dvd audio extractor and Make MKV always report 48Khz on dolby traks on my bluray disks. (i only buy music disks)
Only LPCM and DTS seem to go beyond 48Khz.

David gilmore live at pompei has a stereo 96khz track wich is reported by the Z3000 as 96Khz but outputted as 48khz
The oppo 203 oputputs the same file as 96Khz. So it's not my avr f-ing up.
First the file was an iso, outputted as 48Khz, last the file extracted to separated streams but its still outputted as 48Khz.

I still haven't updated and my outputs have always been good. So, no, it's not in anyway related ;)

    Fine
I noticed it because some one mentioned it, and I tried it.

The previous HT version (.37) didnt show any sound track options, and when you selected it it crashed the HTprogram. Now there is a normal sound track option!
It only happend on the movie database not the TV database.
    Shure it's unreleated!

HT just calls the player which is a separate app, installed from a separate apk.

    So?!
It all depends on the call that is made to the api/app. Calling an api/app the wrong way gives unsuspected results.
    It's working again! Nevermind

HT5 is just a visual layer/GUI...just sayin...but, if it's fixed your issue, awesome.

Yeah on the Sony audio information screen. I have a Sony PS5 as my bluray player but I have never actually used it as one. I rip all my stuff or get them elsewhere to use with my media players. I typically either sell or give away the physical copies to family and friends after since I dont like using discs and I dont really have space in my current living situaion for an extensive collection. I can try to get one back but looks like it limits to 24/96khz which should be enough to test at least.

I just cannot figure out why the audio only signal is fine but the video one is not. I will try testing once i get hold of a disc.

And I updated to the latest HT 5.0 apk and mine is still outputting at 48khz per the AVR. Zidoo shows the higher rez options in the HT poster wall drop down menu and while playing if i press the info it says it is playing 96khz but my AVR only shows 48khz.

Music player tracks shows correctly at all resolutions. with DSD maxed at 176.4 pcm which is the limit for the lower models without the separate DAC Audio only out I believe.

Stutter in DV continues to be a real pain - even using LLDV. Tried watching a The Handmaids Tale. DV at 23.976 FPS. Stutter was consistent every 10 seconds or so even when stopped and restarted. Had to use Infuse on my ATV - smooth as butter.

Music tracks work fine. It is music videos like concert videos or Bluray audios that do not show correctly in my AVR so pick any one. It is not limited to one video. It is all of them. If you have any in your collection, try it and see if it works for you in the Zidoo player. For example U2 Live in Paris. It has a LPCM 96khz track. When playing from the video, it shows 96khz in the Zidoo OSD but as LCPM 48khz on my AVR. If I play the same song ripped from the same video from the music player (with no change in bit or sample rate), it shows up as 96khz in my AVR.

Bryan Adams Reckless Bluray Audio does the same thing although that is a 192khz audio. Play from the zidoo video player and it is 48khz. Rip the same track from the same disc without any change to bit or sample rate and it plays as PCM 192 khz in the music player and on my AVR.
