Has anyone else had an issue with the Zidoo video player outputting 96khz or 192 khz audio as only 48khz but the music player has no problems playing the higher resolution audio? Like literally the audio ripped from the blu-ray will output in the music player correctly but i cannot get the video player to output anything above 48khz. Really kills a lot of my Blu-ray Audio and live music collection usage as many have high resolution audio.

    Video only outputs 48khz.
Raw and auto. On hdmi audio only output.
All true hd files i got are only 48khz. o_O
Some files with dts get to 96khz but are outputted as 48khz. :(

Well that sucks. Is that true of all products in the Zidoo line? If so are there other media players that offer full high resolution audio output on video?

But this is absolutely not true!!! Please do not give out misinformation if we do not know how things are. I have several live and audio blurays with DTS-HD Master Audio encoding at 96khz 24 bit and the amplifier works fine in DTS-HD Master Audio at 96khz 24 bit

Hmmm. None of mine do. They only output at 48 khz per my amps input. Audio files output up to 192khz but all video files are limited to 48 khz no matter what setting I have tried.

What amplifier and zidoo do you have?

    I have a Z9x 8K > Sony STR-AN1000 > LG c2 connected with certified 2.1 HDMI cables.

This goes for True HD, DTS Master HD and PCM tracks at 96 or 192 khz in some cases. All output as 48 khz.

all movies stutter on this version no matter the settings for frame rate, hoping for a fix soon.

    Try framerate 24 hz
and set Auto Frame rate OFF

see if forcing a framerate will help with your issues (i have no stutters on any vids )

All good here with my system: the audio tracks sampling are outputted accordingly (both RAW and Auto). I tried DTS-HD MA 5.1 / 7.1 96kHz, DTS-HR 5.1 96kHz and PCM 2.0 96kHz...all with video from Blu-ray. Zidoo info shows them as 96kHz output and my audio processors confirms they are playing @96kHz. I don't have TrueHD tracks sampled @96kHz, nor PCM 2.0 @192kHz to test, but I'm sure there would be no problem.
And I'm still using normal HDMI 2.0 cables in my system.... so there's definitely something wrong with your settings / system.

Well that is weird. Obviously my AVR is capable of receiving and playing hi rez audio but why is it only accepting from the music files? Makes no sense.

I agree, it apparently makes no sense. Did you already try to unplug all your HDMI cables? Maybe for some reason EDID f*cked up?
Other suggestion: when you play a 96kHz track, if you click on the info what does the Zidoo OSD report? Does it say 96 or 48kHz output? Because if it says 48kHz it is definitely an EDID issue (it means it can't sense a connected hi-rez ecosystem... and you will need to investigate why)

The OSD reports 96khz. I have swapped out the cables and even bought new ones trying to troubleshoot the issue. I can do screen shots later after I get up. I have to get some sleep soon lol.

And what about this? As you can see, in my case, HDMI EDID senses my system has full support and reports me the sampling details for each format.
