    This beta APK was never intended to redesign the app's visual appearance,
    but simply to fix the obsolete API key related to TMDB and enable scraping again.

    What you're asking for, and what many of us are really hoping for,
    if it's updated, it will probably be with the next firmware version.

    With this update the option to return to the old interface was added. You have to go to the preferences menu and choose which one you want to use.

    Which setting in preferences? Can you post a screen shot of the preferences screen and the relevant setting?

    Preferences > Details Dynamic Background - toggle off = old style interface for art.

    Me either. There's no option for the annoying black halo.

    Edit: got it to. It is the option "Details dynamic background"

    Details dynamic background is not a phrase that would seem to describe the transparency level of the background. Neither is the help text, indicating that this option is not available with some movies.

    I really think that the user interface would benefit greatly from better English descriptions in a number of places. Fixing the English phrasing could possibly lead to better translations to other languages.

    @Markswift2003 If we crow-sourced, here in the forums, a list of suggestions for improved wording in the user interface would you be in a position to get Zidoo to fix the wording?

    I agree. Details Dynamic Background, and the relative suggestion, is misleading and does not correctly describe the type of setting.

    Hi All,
    Since this morning when I launch an update of a HD, all my new films are not recognized.
    On the Android App, when I redo an update, the cursor of the updating process is in purple, useally is in green.
    All new films are in the OTHERS file, and remained impossible to rematch, clicking on TMDB don't give any result.
    Even on the HT5 desktop I have the same problem.
    Any idea

    This is not true... and Oppo also has problems with Dolby Atmos tracks (it often doesn't recognize them from mkv files). And PQ is way better on Zidoo. But, yes, no problems with discs...this is correct (I own a 203)

    I have seen previous discussions of problems with 23.976 content. Seems I am seeing the same.

    I have a 1080p TrueHD 5.1 AVC non HDR non DV disc rip in 23.976 (Yellowstone Season 1).

    It's all I can do to get it to start playback smoothly. It stats off all choppy with no audio almost in slow motion. If I keep retrying eventually it will work and once it does it plays back fine.

    After the third episode trying to start and stop 10 times just to get it to play, I'm giving up, I can't deal with this.

    Match resolution and frame rate are both on in settings for local and apps. It's connected directly to an LG G3.

    Is this a known issue? Is it new with this beta version of the firmware?
