Tell me, please, do you have information - what Zidoo engineers are currently working on (I mean the next firmware for AML S928X)?

I hadn't made the connection between the flashing and the Trakt syncing (which isn't really sync but a full upload and download of status for the entire library, which is slow and also does a poor job of syncing statuses unless you only use one media device, a single Zidoo.)

That of course depends on the EDID - if the EDID doesn't support LLDV, the option is not available...

    Translated it for you ;)

Sorry - I don't know specifically which bugs they're working on, but they have a list of about 27 from me, two of which are flagged as important (DTS sync and stuttering) and four of which are new.

Hunt them!! If it's in country side, you're in a mess. A real plague in many areas of Spain now-a-days.

Ah, now see as someone that grew up on a farm, i'm sure your mean a Hare, not a Rabbit?

Just thought I'd chime in on the off-topic banter, whilst we all wait for the next fw....

Yep - in the countryside - shooting is the best way I've found so far!

    Nope, these are definitely rabbits!

Plenty of hares in the fields around about, but it's the rabbits that cause problems for me.

Probably the funniest thing I ever saw was in Tuscany last year in hunting season - up on a hillside and every Sunday, constant gunshot retorts from every direction. 360 degrees. All day - mostly shotguns, but some, most obviously not shotguns - hunting season between July & September (I think) and mad Italians shooting at anything and everything that moved between the size of a medium sized bird and a large hog - including each other - utterly brilliant!!!

This is one of the many many reasons Italy is my favourite place to be in the entire world!!

    Back in May :)

I have mostly WD Red Pro NAS and Caviars. A few Seagate, but I am not sure about their reliability yet.

All my NAS are WD Red & WD Black NVMe in my PC (but only because they look like the CPU from a T800 ;) )

    Cue music...

Just tried it and it fixed the stuttering issue I was having with dolby tv mkv file. I think you might be on to something... I will be testing with the a dolby vision ISO file.

Southern Spain is like that and in July-August hunting season opens for rabbits and some birds.

For me Blu Ray rips stuttered like hell and had no sound, now I have smooth video and sound.

Passthrough Compatible Mode should be called "Dolby TrueHD Compatibility Mode" with an explanation as to what it does - I've suggest this in my last report because everyone seems to have forgotten what it does and newbies won't have a clue!

Pass-through Compatible Mode fixes an issue with non-standard TrueHD streams where packet overflow due to successive synchronisation points being too close together (which is outside THD spec) causes stuttering.

@Eki Shaw - this is why I flagged this as an issue (Page 6) ;)
