Hello Team Zidoo, can you log this audio drop out bug? Here's a third clip in addition to the previous clips with audio drop outs. (I copied the audio track only from the movies to isolate the issue.)

    New clip:
    easyupload.io/1xnfvn

    Previous clips:
    easyupload.io/r4icgb
    easyupload.io/hzwfd8

These clips all play fine on my Mac, they only have drop outs in Zidoo. They come from three different movies. Seems unlikely there's a problem with the source.

    Two other forum members confirmed.

This drop out has affected at least the last 2 versions of the firmware.

Hi guys, I’m a long time Zidoo user, owned several of the previous models and currently have the z1000 pro, I was thinking of upgrading to the z3000 pro, mainly want a more faster snappier box box all round that is a noticeable improvement with improved 4K resolution on the poster wall images with faster scrolling. Will the Z3000 pro give me that?

also been reading the dts lip sync issue thread. Lip sync issues is my worst bug bear, It will drive me crazy and and I have no patience for it to be honest. I have no lip sync issues with my z1000 pro at all, has this been fixed now or is a fix in the pipeline? This will be a deal breaker for me if it isn’t fixed as it will just frustrate the help out of me…

thoughts please? Upgrade or hold off a bit longer?

this f/w fixed the lip synch for some of the ppl that have it (i never did ,luckily ) ,a few still seem to have some of it thou

its not an issue that effected everyone , and seems less to effect those doing zidoo > receiver > tv

i have the denon 3700h to pana oled with the z30 8k pro

?? looking at your tags ,why would you do Ziddo > tv earc to 3800h
wouldnt you have way better compatibility with audio/video codecs if you went Z > denon > LG

I’ve some old movie with DVD ISO format. When playing on z9x 8k, the output resolution will become 3840x2160 with noticeable screen stuttering.

Has anybody tried if VC-1 files works with this new beta update?

This firmware still has an issue when I pause a video and resume it. After a short while, the playback stops suddenly (within seconds or a minute).
Then, when I rewind (1 button press is enough) and resume, the movie runs without stopping.
Low res movies take longer until the movie stops. Might be an indication of some kind of video buffer that is empty slower.

I am curious what the difference is between the file manager player and the posterwakk player.
I download my trailers and the file manager plays them all, but the poster wall is picky

Media Center and Poster Wall both use the same player.

The trailer player is a modified version of the same player. It is modified because it plays at the frame rate of the UI regardless of frame rate of the file so it doesn't cause an HDMI resync, and also it plays picture in picture for the preview.

If you send me an example of a trailer file that doesn't play I should be able to tell you why.

In my case with v1.1.70 I always have a strong audio delay on all the VC-1s I own: when I start playback there is a strong audio delay. If I send forward or backward even a little during playback, the audio resynchronizes.

Sync box is a great piece of kit, works great, no issues so far, loving it. Bit on the expensive side but then again everything Philips hue is! I’m all in on hue from when I bought my house back a few years ago so made sense to just carry on with the platform. I’ve not had any issues with it so far….touch wood

and what LG model did you have?
problem with sony is price.... same LG panel but chosen one by one,so onyl the best....
software is awesome (cause pay much the engineers) and can beat the same LG panel with software improvment...
but price is ridicolous high... imho it's not worth the difference...
but GREAT tv if you dont look the price...

I find the 8k boxes show grain more than the previous ones.

I used to buy Samsung (high end) products, but maybe it was just me, but they did not last much past their warranty periods.

I had an LG BX 55.

And, having had an LG and Sony, I guess you pay your money and take your choice.
