because that one only workes on 1080p,only the thumbnails can work with 2160p

Not for me mate - totally resolved now.

 

I know I was asking to see if there was a regression on truehd on this firmware and if they broke a/v sync again or not.

 

Music lyrics still not working for me at least.

 

Mine had no sync issues for any of the audio formats and all my stuff runs off an internal 16tb hard drive. Wonder if it has to do with how people are transmitting the data to the player. Are they using external hard drive, internal hard drive, bank of hard drives accessed over their wifi, etc... I think people need to be more specific when posting an issue like this that depends on so many outside factors.

I got my hopes up when I saw #17, but unfortunately, my Jellyfin issues persist.

 

The new firmware now reads external subtitles for builtin EmBY from UI (movie page) , but when start playing the movie will not read it. I don’t know if it’s fixable

 

My two units says there is no update. I have the 'receive beta' option checked. Is the update pushed in stages?

 

My Z9x 8k gave me the FW update notice when I turned it on today.

Yes, it depends on MAC address - hang tight, it'll probably tip up shortly.

 

The box does not convert DTS 5.1 or AC3 5.1 to PCM 5.1 so you might need to check your sources. If you're mistaken and it's PCM 2.0 then check your audio settings.
