With what I know and the conversations I've had with them over the last few weeks - No, definitely not.

    Definitely haven't experienced this.

I've seen the occasional sleep thing after a day or so but haven't been able to figure out what's happening there, but definitely no issues with SMB afterwards or indeed at any other time.

I'm sure you mean BDMV unless they released a different version of Airplane than the one I know :D

But haven't seen this - will try to replicate today.

It was in relation to the companys focus - eversolo seems to have established itself in the market fairly quickly.

Well friends, unfortunately I will have to go back to the Z9X that I had, since, I have lost movies again, I have tried everything including disconnecting the disks that I have with a hub, turning off the electrical current first, then when I connect the disks to the PC to pass movies, it always finds errors in the units, I correct it from windows and when I connect it to the zidoo z9x 8k it scans the new files and although not always, many times movies are deleted, they keep appearing but the size appears 0b, as I mentioned before I don't know if it happens to other people but I can't risk losing more information, I hope zidoo investigates this problem since I have connected the z9x and those errors no longer occur.

I also get a disk error message, after using any external USB HDDs with the Z9K 8K - Windows requires a scan and problem fix everytime - this may be Amlogic SOC related, as I never had this with my older Z20 PRO.

In my little opinion, when i had this error in the past (with himedia q10 pro) was for pc problems, related with usb port (and usb hub pciex internal on pc) . I discover there was problems with that peripheral and some usb cables... And some incompatibility with motherboard. When i changed motherboard and usb hub i solve the problems.( Change motherboard not for this problem but for upgrading pc ).
But sorry, do you unplug the usb cable only after turn off zidoo, right? And after you plug only when zidoo is off before tun on,right?

Hi, that's correct, I have 5 hard drives connected to the zidoo Z9x 8k via a hub, when I disconnect them from the zidoo I do it with the zidoo off from the power supply, so there is no electrical interference, then I connect it to the pc and 90% of the time the message there is a problem with the unit, repair it appears, I do it, I connect it to the zidoo and on many occasions it corrupts movies that are on the hard drive. I have gone back to using my old Z9x doing exactly the same thing and those problems I have with the Z9x 8k have disappeared so the problem is in the Z9x 8k the question is to find out what is causing that problem.
    Thanks

Really bad problems... When it corrupt file that you spend a lot of time to create/download....

Please, try without the usb hub... Just a usb cable connect to zidoo and hard disk... Try different drives and tests... Just to exclude the hub from the equation

I'm unable to replicate this - I've tried pausing with "Enter" and "Play/Pause" and it always resumes perfectly.

    This is with MKV.

So two things spring to mind - does your screen saver kick in while the file is paused? And is this only for BDMV/ISO or was the epi of Silo mkv?

    1.) Play the any movie.

2.) Pause the movie (still image), now still good framerate (FPS) + TV switch off!

    3.) Waiting 20 minute

    4.) TV switch on

5.) Resumes playback, and wrong framerate (FPS) >>> that's why the picture stutters

Zidoo UHD8000 and probably all of them Amlogic Zidoo modell produces this error,
while the old Zidoo X20, Zidoo UHD3000 and Dune HD Base 3.0 is good!

    Why on earth do that?

Switching the HDMI sink off will cause all sorts or unexpected results because you either remove or change the EDID.

Back on my Z9X days i was using a switched 7 port hub to the Z9X with 4 to 7 USB HDDS on .
I was forever having issues with HDDs corrupting and losing files.
Once i removed the switched hub and went to just using the Z9X usb ports only ,i have never had that issue again ,in what, 10 years ,say.
