A friend of mine has just got himself a UHD3000 and has set it up with his Sony VPL-VW290ES projector which is native 4K and can process HDR though not DV. It's been professionally calibrated. He has updated the firmware though has left all settings default out of the box. He's played a couple of BR UHD ISO discs and based on the picture compared to that from Kaleidescape that he's wanting to move away from he's not happy with the picture at all. I'm going to give him a hand and have a look at it myself, is there a particular settings guide that I should follow and or any particular tweaks to apply noting this particular projector?
