    Hello there,
Is the Samsung Tizen OS in the waiting list for the TV Edition ?
    Thanks.

Not sure how I missed this, busy summer I guess. Just installed on my TCL Q7 and it appears to be working well. Thank you Eversolo.

I suspect it may not be possible given how this app is designed and connecting to our Eversolo devices, but it would be super cool if there were a way to display the VU meters on the TV. Any chance this is something that could be added?

I have the same issue on a Toshiba 55" Fire TV. EXACTLY the same!

Since the HDMI out of the Eversolo is not a VIDEO one (i.e. the hardware behind it is not there), it will never be possible: a firmware update cannot bring the video circuitry for you...

But is the video necessary? It's already pulling track, queue, progress, etc. via the API. Couldn't they simply add some sort of visualization to the app itself that responds to another API call?

You may be right, but probably this would require some changes in the TVapp, like handling graphics more intensively, rather than just text fields...? don't know, TBH I'd have gone for a screen replication... much less work to do.

The way to get things like VU meters or Spectrum displays on your TV, is to simply cast your control surface screen to your smart TV using your network connection. So using the existing control app, screen/Cast your streamer current screen to your phone or tablet, then cast it on again to your TV. Works fine for me using a Samsung tablet and TV, Samsung call this casting SmartView.

Hi, though it isn't on the current plan, thanks for your suggestion.

Yes, I realize I can screen mirror, but it would be nice if it was somehow a function of the app itself, versus having to use a device dedicated to cast/mirror the mobile app to the TV. It's great they have something, don't get me wrong, but it would be even better if it had a bit more eye candy. Something super clean, high res, full screen and that didn't have useless controls in view that won't ever get used.

Just so they don't mess up Tidal streaming. And so they don't forget that flawless, high-end sound reproduction is paramount. And TV is just fireworks, add-ons for fun.

There are so many different OSs for TVs that, as a developer myself, I would have given up a loong ago providing such a feature... sad but true.
I mean... iOS and Android are widespread and toolkits are widely available, so do many building environments. But for exotic OSs...

I understand this, but Samsung is not exotic, one of the most popular brands on the market. Anyway, just asking.

Not exotic as a brand... exotic as its OS, and its OS' popularity / widespread...
Proprietary is very good sometimes, but may keep you on your island...

That's what I was afraid of. They're introducing new features, and now, at 9:40 AM on November 18, 2025, streaming from Tidal has completely stopped. It works fine on smartphones.

    Hi everyone,

    first post here

if updates are planned for this app, I would just have two wishes - advanced stream informations on my TV and album release date.

it would be great to see the same information as in the original tidal app and what I'm missing in general is album release date information.

    thx in advance and

    merry Christmas

I do not agree, we are talking abut OS in TVs, not about global OS market (smartphones, PCs, tablets, etc.). In TVs, that brand still is the leader with almost 1 third of the market (despite ther competitions is tighter every year).

Samsung is a global brand. I recently bought their latest S95F 77" OLED TV. The Q-Symphony's image and sound (plus their soundbar) played from YouTube in 8K to 16K resolution are simply breathtaking, and the sound from 4K-8K concerts is mind-blowing, not to mention the high quality and sound space. :):)

I'm writing this so we don't discuss any margins like screen covers.
If you incorporate all the technology in terms of AI image and AI sound from the "niche" Samsung, you won't have problems viewing covers from Tidal. You simply need to separate music from streaming for audiophiles from what Samsung now provides.
For additional information, Samsung now supplies most of the panels for Sony TVs.o_O
    Let's deal with serious topics.
