    Hello
    I have an Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2.
First I power off the Eversolo through the menu on the display.
Then turn off the device through a power switch from power strip
    Does it harm the Eversolo.

This is exactly what I do, no issues after nearly 2 years of operation.

I only have a normal A6 and turn it off by pressing the button for 2-3 seconds...

    Hi Schäse
Yes but I use a central power strip and turn off definitely the devices.

That is the equivalent of powering your computer off by pulling the plug... nobody really wants that. There is software involved here...

I power my DMP-A6 on and off with a Harmony universal remote. When powered off it's in standby, see no need to power it off fully.

It does not do any harm but there is no need for it as power used during standby is clearly below 1W. It uses a standby circuit with a relay to auto control the voltage range selected during power-on for the LPS.

I only disconnect my total PC, TV and Audio equipment when going on holiday. This just to prevent any potential hazard.
